Overview
First Impressions
Prime City Centre Apartment sits on a quiet residential street in Camden that feels worlds away from the tourist chaos, yet you’re actually just minutes from everything that matters. The building itself is one of those classic London conversions — nothing flashy from the outside, but that’s honestly part of its charm. You won’t find a grand lobby here, but what you get instead is something that feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel.
The Neighborhood Reality
Here’s what I love about this spot in London — you’re in Camden, but on the civilized edge of it. York Rise is residential enough that you can actually sleep at night, but walk ten minutes and you’ll hit Camden Market or hop on the Northern Line at Tufnell Park. The local Sainsbury’s is right around the corner (trust me, you’ll appreciate this), and there’s a proper pub called The Pineapple that serves decent fish and chips just down the road.
The Space Itself
This four-star apartment setup really works if you’re tired of cramped hotel rooms. The kitchen is actually functional — I mean, you can cook a proper meal here, not just heat up tea. There’s enough counter space, a full-size fridge, and even a dishwasher. The living area doesn’t feel like an afterthought either; there’s a decent sofa and a table where you can spread out your maps or laptop without everything falling on the floor.
Sleeping and Staying Comfortable
The bedroom situation varies depending on which unit you get, but the one I stayed in had a proper double bed (not one of those barely-bigger-than-single situations you sometimes get in London) and enough room to open your suitcase without doing yoga moves around it. The bathroom is modern and clean — good water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in older London buildings. There’s no fancy spa or anything like that, but everything works well.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really sets this place apart? It’s the freedom factor. No rushing down for breakfast before it closes, no feeling awkward about coming back with groceries, no tiny bottles of overpriced water. You can live a bit like a local, which is refreshing after bouncing between traditional hotels. The 8.3 rating makes sense — it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in London, but it delivers exactly what it promises. If you want to experience the city without feeling like you’re camping in a shoebox, this works really well.

"Superb"
Great location, amazing power shower, warm and comfortable
What could be improved: 2 single sofa beds were great for sleeping on, though a little sofa for the other 2 occupants would have been nice, and maybe a little lamp in the lounge and bedroom too. Was generally clean but just a little dusty in places like under bed and on top shelf of wardrobe where iron and hair-dryer were . Overall a great little property though :)

"Great stay- recommended"
The cleaniness and decor.
Communication with the owner and ability to access the property.
Cot was requested and provided
Previous users have mentioned the noise of the train, the sound isn’t that bad. It does go past the property quite close but it isn’t loud and doesn’t pass all through the night.
Previous users have mentioned that windows don’t open - we were able to open them
What could be improved: Exterior doesn’t match the beautiful interior.

"Nice place but needs a bit more attention"
Location was good for our specific need. The apartment was, light, clean inside and spacious. Good kitchen. with amenities but no dishwasher liquid ect
What could be improved: Bed was comfy but not level across the width. Bedroom window very dirty outside. Some train noise in the night. The apartment has a balcony but was locked and had black bags of dirty washing on it for 24hrs. Outside was a bit untidy with rubbish in the garden opposite

Location was perfect. Also, apartment was newly renovated.
What could be improved: The door to the balcony wouldn’t open. Also, sofa beds were not super comfortable (which is expected btw).

"Good"
The apartments are beautifully furnished, and modern renovations have been made. They are located near the metro.
What could be improved: Some windows are next to the railway tracks, and sometimes it's noisy. There is mold in the apartment.

"Clean and renovated equipments on good location, but you need a earplug if you have sensitive ears."
all clean facility with dish washer and washing machine.
What could be improved: It wasn’t well sound proof. Noise from other neighbors going up/down stairs could be heard. From the room, you hear the train passing which was quite often till late night. In addition, bad mattress was squeaky all the time when i move.
