Camden gets a bad rap sometimes, but honestly, this little corner near Regent’s Park is where you want to be. You’re about a three-minute walk from Camden Market’s chaos, but Rochester Square itself? Dead quiet most evenings. The Tube station is close enough that you won’t be dragging your luggage for ages, and you can actually walk to King’s Cross in about fifteen minutes if you don’t mind a pleasant stroll.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this quirky cabin-meets-boutique-hotel vibe that actually works. They’ve got these clever built-in storage solutions everywhere — you know how London hotels can be tiny, but this place maximizes every inch without feeling cramped. The bed was properly comfortable, and there’s decent natural light, which is honestly half the battle in this city. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with a shower that has actual water pressure.
Dining and Daily Rhythms
There isn’t a full restaurant on-site, but they’ve got a solid breakfast setup that’ll get you going. The real win here is the little kitchenette area in some rooms — perfect for those moments when you want to grab groceries from the nearby Sainsbury’s and just decompress. The staff pointed me toward some brilliant local spots too, including this Ethiopian place around the corner that I never would’ve found on my own.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Camden Town Garden Cabin isn’t trying to be the flashiest hotel in London, and that’s exactly why it works. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you consider what matters: clean, thoughtfully designed spaces, genuinely helpful staff, and a location that gives you both the Camden energy and some actual peace. There’s parking available too, which is practically a miracle in this part of town. It’s the kind of place where you’ll sleep well, start your day right, and actually want to come back — which in London, honestly, is saying something.

"Lovely cabin in the heart of London"
The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is excellent - Camden Town is a great neighborhood of London, close to the center but not overpriced or crowded. We enjoyed the garden as well, it was a welcome oasis of greenery in the middle of a very busy capital. Johnathan, our host, was extremely gracious and provided us with additional supplies (towels, toilet paper, etc.) when we needed them. I personally also think this accommodation is a great value for money considering its facilities and proximity to public transport & the city center.
What could be improved: Unfortunately the cabin wasn't cleaned prior to our stay because the host mixed up our arrival date from what I understood. It had been cleaned since the last guest and the towels & linens were fresh, but some areas were a bit dusty and could have used some sprucing up before we arrived. Still, this wasn't that big of an issue for us.

"Great place to stay, calm but close enough to attractions"
It was great to stay in a small cabin not far from London. Being alone and not near traffic, it was much calmer than being in the city centre.
The bed was comfortable, the place was clean and has enough furniture for a few days.
Easy to get there - bus stop nearby, also underground and overground are 10-15 min walk away.
What could be improved: The entrance gate was really tough to open and should be fixed.
The place gets humid - but there is a dehumidifier and clear instructions how to avoid moisture.
I found the heating controls weird to operatem, although there were instructions, the control panel isn't intuitive.

The garden cabin is very cozy and the location is perfect for a London trip. The owners were very kind and helpful. We had a small problem with the gate but it was fixed immediately!

Located in a quiet neighbourhood and it felt safe
Cabin is well equipped as described and is true to picture.

"Super schöner Aufenthalt in einem Garten mitten in London."
Eigenes kleines Apartment in einem Garten mitten in London. Sehr schön und aussergewöhnlich eingerichtet. Tolles Bad, Küche, Bett… alles hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Und die Lage ist top. Ich habe selten so schön übernachtet. Immer wieder gerne.
