Overview
First Impressions
When you step into Premier Suites Shepherds Bush Westfields Penthouse Apartment, you’re honestly not in a typical hotel at all — you’re in someone’s really nice apartment on the 16th floor of Bush Court. The elevator ride up gives you a moment to realize you’ve scored something special here, and then the views hit you. I mean, this is London spread out below, and you get that “wait, this is where I’m staying?” moment that makes the whole trip feel different.
The Space That Surprised Me
This four-star place feels more like borrowing a friend’s penthouse than checking into a hotel room. The kitchen is actually functional — not one of those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken microwave. You know what I loved? Having space to spread out, maybe cook breakfast if you want, or just sit at the dining table with your laptop instead of perching on a bed. The living area flows naturally, and honestly, after cramped London hotel rooms, this felt like breathing again.
Location Reality Check
Shepherd’s Bush gets overlooked, but you’re literally above one of London’s biggest shopping centers — Westfield is right there when you need it. The Green below has this village-y feel that surprised me, with actual locals walking their dogs and grabbing coffee. What’s brilliant is you’re connected to central London via the Central line, but you’re not paying central London accommodation prices or dealing with tourist crowds every time you step outside.
The Practical Stuff
The building feels secure — proper key card access, concierge desk downstairs, the works. Parking is available if you’re driving, though honestly, with the tube connections, I’d skip the car rental stress. The apartment comes with all those little things that matter when you’re staying more than a night or two: decent Wi-Fi, washing machine (game-changer for longer trips), and enough storage space that you can actually unpack your suitcase.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, an 8.1 rating tells you something — people appreciate having actual living space in London without completely breaking the bank. You get the independence of an apartment rental but with hotel-style service when you need it. Plus, there’s something satisfying about telling people you’re staying in a penthouse in London, even if Shepherd’s Bush isn’t Mayfair. For families or anyone staying more than a few days, this setup just makes sense in a way that hotel rooms don’t.

"Very good"
Location: Super easy to find from Shepherd’s Bush Station on the Central Line — just a short, straightforward walk.
Size: Surprisingly spacious — there’s definitely room to swing a cat (and a few more if you wanted!).
View: The view of London is fantastic. You can catch sights like the London Eye from the kitchen window if you look at the right angle, while the lounge offers a more local view toward HMP Wormwood Scrubs.
Host: Very helpful and quick to respond — made everything smooth and easy.
What could be improved: Decorating required
Small bits in Bathroom and kitchen.

"Amazing location!"
The location is amazing with the tube station just across the street and a lot of bus stops nearby it's a perfect base point to visit everywhere in London. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable, also the views were great! The host responded very quickly and overall our stay there was really good, we'd come back again.

"Great stay, excellent location!"
Great place for our family of 5. The location is amazing – the tube station is literally just across the road, which made getting around London so easy. The flat has 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. Perfect base for exploring the city!

"Great appartment with spacious areas and good location"
Very spacious appartment. The bedrooms were really good, spacious and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable too. Nice living room with a lot of natural light. Easy to check in. The host let us drop off our bags before the check in time, which was really helpful. Great location, right in front of Sheperds Bush tube station.
What could be improved: The shower could have bit more pressure. At night, the area right next to the tube station is a bit dodgy but didn't feel unsafe.

"Clean and Convenient accommodation, perfect for family."
The property was very clean. The location was more than perfect. A few minutes walk to the tube, overground, and the Westfield. Lots of baby friendly restaurants are in the area. Also, having Sainsbury’s and Lidle on the ground floor was so convenient.
It was unfortunate that the cot and high chair(with additional cost) we requested were not ready on our arrival but the host was very apologetic and responded very quickly which we really appreciate.
What could be improved: It would be perfect if the shower pressure was stronger. Cupboard doors underneath the kitchen sink could be mended as they were falling off slightly.

"Nice flat, disappointing building."
The flat was very close to a mall. Very big flat with kitchen and living room. Host was very responsive thorugh messaging. Nice view.
What could be improved: The common areas of the building was not ideal, overall unpleasant. The house rules require you to throw out your own rubbish at the bin store, however, the bin store was extremely dirty and full. We did not manage to access the bin store properly due to the accumulated trash in the bin store. Otherwise the flat itself was pleasant.

"Very good"
Good communication with host and he kindly let us have access early in the morning so that we could leave our bags. Good location as very close to all travel networks and shops/restaurants. Apartment was clean and spacious. Great views.
What could be improved: outside Entrance was very shabby and looked dirty. Was concerned as had 2 over 70's staying. Apartment was basic but adequate. Certainly not penthouse style!

"Location, location, location. Family friendly."
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Directly across the street from the underground. There was a high end mall within walking distance and convenience shops at the base of the building. The beds were adequate, apartment was clean. Owner was very responsive as one toilet broke while we were there. He had it fixed by the time we got back from our adventures. He also let us drop our luggage off before check in so we could go explore the area. We would highly recommend this flat and would stay there again if ever in London.
What could be improved: Kitchen could use a few more pots and oven pans. I wound up using tin foil to bake on because I couldn't find a baking sheet in the stores. Bought and left a coffee press that I purchased at the mall as we are coffee drinkers. Would have been nice to have as an amenity without having to purchase. The tub is high off the ground, not a deal breaker for us, but it should be listed in case of mobility issues. As temp rose it got a bit warm even with the windows open. Street noise definitely carried, especially with windows open to try to cool the place. Suggested getting fans or portable a/c units.
