Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first arrived at Peckham City Vibes 2BR with Wi-fi and Balcony, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this corner of South London. But you know what? This four-star spot completely won me over. The building itself sits on a quiet residential street in Southwark, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels like a real neighborhood rather than a touristy bubble.
The Space Itself
The apartment is genuinely spacious — I mean, two proper bedrooms in London is no joke. What really caught my attention was how thoughtfully everything’s laid out. The balcony isn’t huge, but it’s perfect for morning coffee, and you actually get some decent views over the surrounding area. The Wi-fi works reliably (trust me, I tested it thoroughly), and the whole place has this modern, clean vibe without feeling sterile.
Peckham’s Hidden Appeal
Here’s the thing about staying in Peckham — it’s become one of those areas that locals rave about but tourists often overlook. You’re about a 15-minute train ride from central London, which honestly isn’t bad at all. The neighborhood has this great mix of trendy coffee shops, authentic Caribbean food, and some surprisingly good pubs. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to Peckham Rye Park when you need some green space.
What Works Really Well
The kitchen setup deserves a mention because it’s actually functional — not just for show. I was able to prep proper meals, which saved me a fortune compared to eating out for every meal in London. The bedrooms are comfortable, and I appreciated having separate spaces when traveling with a friend. The place stays quiet at night too, which isn’t always guaranteed in a city this size.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea if you want to be right in the heart of Westminster or Covent Garden. But if you’re after authentic London living with easy access to the center, it really delivers. The value is solid for what you get — especially that extra space and the balcony. I’d definitely consider staying here again, particularly if I was planning a longer visit where having a proper base matters more than being within walking distance of Big Ben.

"Exceptional ❤️"
We were absolutely impressed with our stay at this apartment. There were four of us plus a small dog. The location was simply perfect — a quiet and peaceful area with great transport connections to central London. The apartment was spotless and equipped with literally everything you could possibly need. We honestly felt just like at home. It’s perfectly comfortable for four people, and the balcony is definitely a bonus.
If you’re travelling with a dog, there’s a huge park — Peckham Rye Park — less than a 10-minute walk away, ideal for walks and enjoying nature. It’s peaceful and beautiful there. Communication with the hosts was very pleasant and quick.
I’m giving a solid five stars! I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to this time because everything was tip-top, and the hosts truly deserve recognition for the high quality of their service.
Best regards,
Arkadiusz
What could be improved: The only very minor downside is that the chairs in the living room could use a little repair, but that in no way affects how much we loved the apartment.

"A lovely and modern apartment – overall a pleasant stay"
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, modern apartment, which is spread over three levels. On the ground floor is the entrance, then you go up a set of stairs to find a small desk area, the living room, the kitchen, and access to the balcony. Going up another staircase, you’ll find the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The photos shown on the listing are accurate and truly reflect the space.
The location was convenient, close to several bus stops and just a 10-minute walk to Peckham Rye train station. There’s also a Tesco Express supermarket just around the corner, which was very helpful for grocery shopping and daily essentials.
We were a group of four and found four single beds (two in each bedroom), which worked well for us. One of the bedrooms was more spacious, featuring a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a full-length mirror, and even a couple of armchairs. The second bedroom was quite small in comparison and could benefit from a bedside lamp for added comfort. It’s worth noting that the bedrooms don’t have doors, which may be an issue for some.
We especially appreciated the balcony, as some of us are smokers, and it allowed us to stay comfortably at home without needing to go outside for a cigarette.
We felt safe in the neighborhood, and the locals were friendly and helpful—especially when we had trouble identifying the correct apartment in the complex upon arrival.
During our stay, the weather was a bit warm, but the hosts had kindly provided small fans in each bedroom, which helped a lot.
What could be improved: As some previous guests also mentioned, we encountered issues with the bathroom water control. The first night, we weren’t able to shower at all, as we couldn't get the tap to switch to cold without using excessive force and a towel for grip. The next day, there was a temporary water outage in the bathroom, which resolved itself after a few hours. We contacted the hosts, but unfortunately received a reply only the following day. That said, when they did respond, they were very polite and helpful.
The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated the coffee pods that were available. However, cleanliness could have been better. The oven had not been cleaned after the previous guests, and we found some dishes and glasses with stains. The sponge provided was not clean either, though luckily there were extra supplies in the cupboard below, so we washed everything before using it.
