Overview
First Impressions
Parkway residences sits on a tree-lined street in Camden that feels more residential than touristy, which I honestly found refreshing. The building itself is Georgian-style townhouses converted into apartments — you know, that classic London look with white facades and black railings. There’s no grand lobby or doorman here, but the entrance is clean and well-maintained, giving you that authentic London living vibe from the moment you arrive.
The Neighborhood Reality
Here’s what I really appreciated — you’re literally a five-minute walk from Regent’s Park, and I mean the actual park entrance, not just “near” it like some places claim. Camden Town tube station is about ten minutes on foot, which puts you on the Northern line with direct access to central London. The street itself is surprisingly quiet considering you’re so close to all the Camden action, and there are proper local pubs and cafés nearby that tourists don’t usually find.
The Apartment Setup
This four-star property offers serviced apartments rather than traditional hotel rooms, and honestly, that makes all the difference for longer stays. My apartment had a proper kitchen with full-sized appliances — not those tiny hotel fridges you can barely fit a sandwich in. The living area felt spacious by London standards, with large windows that actually let in decent light. The whole place had a modern but homey feel, like staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat rather than a sterile hotel room.
Practical Comforts
What struck me most was how well-equipped everything was for actual living. The wifi was solid (I worked from there several days without issues), and the washing machine in the unit was a game-changer — no more packing three weeks’ worth of clothes for a week-long trip. The building’s quiet too, which surprised me given the Camden location. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional late-night reveler heading home, but nothing that kept me awake.
Why Guests Love It
The real appeal here is getting that authentic London residential experience without sacrificing comfort or location. You’re not paying West End prices, but you’re still well-connected to everything you want to see. The staff were helpful when I needed them but didn’t hover, which felt right for this kind of setup. For families or anyone staying more than a few nights, having that kitchen and extra space makes such a difference — you can actually spread out and live a bit, rather than just crash between sightseeing sessions.

"Really convenient apartment in an amazing location. Would stay again"
I was sent door codes for the front door and the apartment door. It's an amazing location. We were three friends and this apartment had more space than any other I've had in London. Two bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge room. The apartment was simple but very clean and very comfortable.
What could be improved: The apartment gets warm in summer, we had to use the fans provided. These were very dusty, but no drama. We gave them a clean for ourselves and the next guests. Note, the stairs are very narrow, so tricky with large bags but we managed! The hose in the shower needs replacing as it leaks a lot of water, so you dont get the full water pressure. Easy fix. I'd absolutely still stay again.

"A very comfortable stay away from home."
Very easy to travel to all central tourist sites. Camden was a vibrant place with lots of places to eat and drink.
Property was clean and well maintained.
What could be improved: Stairs inside property were very narrow and steep and could be dangerous for young children.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Facilities good. Reasonably quiet considering how busy the street below is.
What could be improved: Staircase is very narrow!

"Very good"
Excellent location, close to the tube (northern line, so very convenient for getting around London). Lots of choice for eating out on your doorstep, restaurants, cafes and a couple of good pubs. Great for kids as Regents Park and the Zoo practically at the top of the street. Co-op, takeaways and grocery shops very close too.
Kitchen we'll equipped with fridge freezer and washing machine. Handy if you're staying a whole.
Excellent shower
What could be improved: Bathroom needs a proper handle and lock. The bathroom door doesn't stay closed unless locked. We had to use a knife to lock the door.
Looks to have been renovated recently but some of the finishes not good. Could have been a really excellent flat with just a little more effort.

"Great and I would stay there again"
Everything was great, we liked the location that near to bus station and Camden Town underground station.
Sometimes there is noise coming from people on street which is acceptable for me since the owner already told me about
What could be improved: The entrance wasn’t good as like as the apartment
