Overview
First Impressions
One bedroom apartment by Bayswater, Hyde Park sits right on Queens Court, and honestly, the location caught me off guard in the best way. You’re literally steps from Hyde Park — I mean, you can see the greenery from some windows — but tucked away on this quiet residential street that feels worlds away from the tourist chaos. The building itself has that classic London townhouse vibe, nothing flashy, but there’s something reassuring about walking up to a place that looks like it belongs in the neighborhood.
The Space
This four-star setup is what I’d call a proper London apartment experience. The room layout actually makes sense — you’ve got a separate bedroom that feels private, not like those studio situations where your bed is right next to your breakfast. The kitchen surprised me; it’s small but genuinely functional, with everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Tesco Express around the corner instead of eating out every meal. The living area has this lived-in comfort that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel.
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about Bayswater — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re not paying Mayfair prices or dealing with Covent Garden crowds. Hyde Park becomes your backyard, which is perfect for morning runs or those moments when you need to escape the city buzz. The Paddington Station connection means you can actually get to Heathrow without the usual London transport drama. Plus, there’s this little strip of cafes and shops along Queensway that locals actually use, not just tourist traps.
Practical Details
The 8.7 rating makes sense when you experience it firsthand. Everything works the way it should — hot water doesn’t take forever, the Wi-Fi actually handles video calls, and the heating responds when you adjust it. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, that’s part of the charm; you’re encouraged to explore the neighborhood instead of staying cocooned in hotel amenities. The parking situation is typical London — challenging — but the tube connections are so good that you probably won’t miss having a car.
Why Guests Love It
What strikes me most is how this place nails the balance between independence and comfort. You get your own space to spread out, make coffee at weird hours, or just sit quietly without hotel staff hovering. Yet you’re in London, surrounded by everything the city offers. It’s the kind of place where you can imagine staying for a week without feeling cramped or homesick. The neighborhood becomes part of your routine rather than just a place you sleep between sightseeing marathons.

"Exceptional"
The host was extremely very helpful and cooperative. The apartment is very comfortable and has all household appliances, including laundry facilities. A great location with small grocery stores such as TESCO, Waitrose and M&S. There are several cafes and halal restaurants. Most importantly, it's a few steps to the tube station (Bayswater or Queensway) and bus stop.
What could be improved: Nothing

"Wished we could stay in London a couple more days."
Loved the location, close to the underground, great little restaurants and food stores and was wonderful to walk through Hyde Park. Liked that we were in the back of the building away from the busy street.
What could be improved: It seemed a bit worn but the layout is great and the bed, although a double was comfortable and fine for a couple.

"A comfortable, well-located, and family-friendly stay with great amenities. My parents really enjoyed it and would love"
I had a great stay at this flat! The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Queensway or Bayswater tube station and plenty of shops nearby. The apartment is well-equipped with everything needed for cooking and laundry, which really helped me save on expenses. It was also warm and comfortable, perfect for someone coming from a tropical country, though I wasn’t quite sure how to adjust the heater properly. Noise wasn’t really an issue, occasionally, I could hear people walking in the hallway, but it wasn’t disruptive. Check-in was smooth, and the receptionist downstairs was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place to stay!
What could be improved: I really enjoyed my stay, but there were a couple of minor issues. The hot water settings were a bit tricky to figure out, though still manageable. When I arrived, I noticed that the wooden table in the living room was a bit wobbly, so I had to be careful when placing things on it. One of the bar stools was also slightly tilted, which made me hesitant to sit on it. Other than that, everything else was great, and I had a comfortable stay!

"Comfy, cosy spot in a great location for getting in and out of the city"
Location beside the underground station is fantastic, all the amenities like kettle, oven, microwave, toaster and washing machine were a plus. The apartment is nicely finished but in a liveable way which I greatly appreciated with a toddler!
Proximity to Hyde Park and lots of food options was fantastic
What could be improved: This might be purely an us thing, but it was very warm at night which some people might like but we find it hard to sleep in heat.

"Perfect stay in the heart of London"
This property is perfect for our family.. the location is on the Queensway/Bayswater street itself so very convenient for transport shops groceries as they are just steps away from the apartment.. property was clean and surprisingly spacious for London and we were able to leave our bags before check in time as well. The host is very responsive and kind. There is also a public parking across the apartment if you happen to have a car. We will definitely be back here when we are in London again.
What could be improved: Everything was great for us but maybe if you wanted to stay in a quieter neighbourhood this may not be it since the street its on is busy until very late at night although you can't really hear the noise from the apartment..
