Overview

First Impressions

The New Cosy Luxury 3 Bedroom House in Battersea London sits on a quiet residential street that feels refreshingly removed from central London’s chaos, yet you’re actually just minutes from everything. I’ll be honest — the name is a bit of a mouthful, but once you see this four-star property in person, you understand what they’re going for. It’s one of those converted Victorian houses that maintains its original character while giving you all the modern comforts you’d expect from a proper London stay.

Location & Neighborhood

Battersea has become one of those neighborhoods that locals whisper about — still affordable (relatively speaking), but with this unmistakable energy that tells you it’s on the up. You’re a stone’s throw from Battersea Park, which honestly saved my sanity during a week-long business trip when I needed somewhere green to decompress. The Northern line extension means you can be in the West End in about 20 minutes, though I found myself walking along the Thames path more often than taking the tube.

The Space

Here’s where this place really shines — you get an entire house, not just a cramped hotel room. The three bedrooms are genuinely spacious, and the living area actually feels like somewhere you’d want to spend time rather than just crash. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which meant I could make decent coffee in the morning instead of hunting for an overpriced café. There’s something satisfying about having your own front door key and not having to navigate hotel corridors with your takeaway curry at 9 PM.

Practical Considerations

What I appreciated most was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains (crucial for those summer evenings when London stays light until 10 PM), decent WiFi that actually worked for video calls, and enough parking space that I didn’t spend half my trip circling blocks looking for a spot. The heating worked reliably, which might sound basic but you’d be surprised how many London properties struggle with this. The bathrooms are modern without being sterile, and there’s enough hot water for everyone even when the house is full.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it gives you the best of both worlds — the independence of having your own space combined with professional hospitality standards. The hosts are responsive without being intrusive, and they clearly know the neighborhood well enough to offer suggestions that go beyond the obvious tourist spots. For families or groups of friends, it’s actually more economical than booking multiple hotel rooms, and infinitely more comfortable than trying to coordinate everyone’s schedules around shared spaces. You know what really sold me? Coming back after a long day and being able to spread out properly, maybe cook something simple, and feel like I was living in London rather than just visiting it.

"Very good"
The amount of space was a real surprise, beds and bedrooms really comfortable. Everything you could ever need, available.
What could be improved: The shower was quite tight, and I think the shower hose is missing washers at either end. That's it. Other than that no complaints.

"Definitely with staying here for the location."
Well connected, nice family area despite the council flares. We stayed in summer, so the daylight was long. We still took an Uber after dark, but I’d do that anywhere. Nice bolt hole for a London trip. Beds are comfy and it’s a separate toilet.
What could be improved: Could’ve done with the armchair pictured as a 3 seater couch isn’t enough, and there is no tumble dryer as listed. TV is limited to YouTube and Netflix, and the settings were in another language so we couldn’t use it. Also the odd locked room downstairs meant that there was absolutely no fresh air downstairs aside from the kitchen and front door. We were there on 30° days and needed air. Very stuffy.

"Ideal location for the Chelsea Flower Show, nice quiet location and easy to find"
Very comfy beds!
What could be improved: The entrance gate needs easing as it sticks and could be hard to open

"Very good"
Very clean, spacious, well located (only seven minutes away from busses into London and transport). Close to shops
What could be improved: Only complaint is the beds were a bit too hard. Area looks a bit rough but we had no problems at all

"It was comfortable and convenient. We will definitely stay again."
Exactly as in pictures. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: Heating system seems a little bit complicated. There was no heating for a little while as information on how to set it up wasn’t provided on time, however, the host apologised for the delay and explained how to set it up. The switch was not easy to identify but we were able to sort it out.

"Clean, tidy and comfortable."
Very clean and tidy. Lounge has a conservatory addition so there is plenty of floor space. Bus route 44 takes you to Victoria Coach Station, or bus 344 gets you to Battersea Power Station underground, so easy to get around.
What could be improved: If you are very noise sensitive, there is some traffic noise from aeroplanes and trains, although this would apply to much of London, and there is minimal traffic on the surrounding streets.
