MSK Superior sits on a quiet stretch of Inverness Terrace in Bayswater, and honestly, you might walk right past it if you’re not paying attention. The Victorian townhouse exterior blends seamlessly with the neighborhood’s classic white-stucco facade — which is actually part of its charm. Inside though, it’s a different story entirely, with a clean, modern lobby that feels refreshingly unpretentious for a four-star hotel in central London.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I really love about this spot — you’re literally a three-minute walk from Queensway tube station, which means the rest of London opens up pretty quickly. Bayswater itself has this lived-in feel that’s hard to find in touristy areas; there are proper local pubs, late-night Lebanese restaurants, and that massive Whitteley’s shopping center if you need anything. Hyde Park is right there too, and I mean right there — you can see the trees from some of the upper-floor windows.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed, which seems to be the MSK Superior approach overall. Everything has its place — there’s actually decent storage space, which you don’t always get in London hotels. The beds are comfortable (firm, not too soft), and the bathroom, while not huge, has good water pressure and stays warm. You know what really impressed me? The soundproofing is excellent, considering you’re on a busy street.
Practical Amenities
The hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant, but there’s a decent breakfast setup that gets the job done — nothing fancy, just solid options that’ll fuel your day. What they lack in dining, they make up for with reliable WiFi throughout and genuinely helpful front desk staff who seem to know the neighborhood inside out. The 24-hour reception is handy when you’re dealing with odd flight times or late returns from West End shows.

Look, MSK Superior isn’t trying to be the flashiest place in London, and that’s exactly why it works so well. It’s the kind of hotel where everything just… functions properly without any drama. The value proposition is solid for what you’re getting — a clean, comfortable base in Zone 2 that doesn’t eat your entire travel budget. Plus, the Bayswater location gives you that authentic London residential feel while keeping you connected to everything else you want to see.

"Very good"
The location is excellent, and the check-in process was quick and efficient thanks to the outstanding front desk staff. When I inquired about access to my room, I was assured that there were no issues. However, my room was on the fifth floor, and since the elevator only goes to the fourth floor, I had to climb the stairs, which was a bit challenging.
It would be helpful if they provided masks for guests instead of asking us to purchase them from outside shops. On a positive note, utensils were provided, making it convenient for us to cook our meals and take them on our trips.
The train station is just a 2-minute walk from the room, and shopping is only 3 minutes away. Overall, my experience was positive.
What could be improved: Do not think anything is seriously missing or negative.

"Great location for a fair price"
Had a wonderful stay, the location is perfect and the staff is very kind and helpful. There was a microwave, fridge, stove and all the necessary utensils. The cupboard had enough hangers, a fan, hairdryer and an iron. The internet and TV worked great. Bedding and towels were clean. Four pillows, one big blanket. No feathers, no decorative pillows or throws, which is perfect. Loved the location, would stay here again.
What could be improved: The window isn't the biggest - the room could use a working AC or a ceiling fan. Could hear the upstairs neighbors walking / moving furniture in the morning, but that is something you experience in a lot of UK houses. The floor in the room was sticky, the heating ladder in the bathroom was rusty. Overall, a few small improvements could be done, considering the age of the property.

"Easy access to the Tube and parks"
Easy access from Paddington Station and to Queensway tube station. Friendly check-in and check-out staff. Able to store bags on the last day until our onward journey. Very clean room. They provided a fan when we requested one.
What could be improved: Double bed up against the wall had to be moved to cater for two people. As a basement room, with a window backing on to the cleaning area, it needs aircon and an alert as to the location of the room.

"Great location! 3 min to the tube at Bayswater. Across the street is Hyde Parc! Super easy access"
The balconies, very cozy. Great view up and down the beautiful street. Easy to watch passersby while sipping a coffee. Ours was a nicely outfitted kitchen for four. Cooking, eating, utensils, toaster, kettle, micro, and a refer for cold brewskis, everything we needed to stay comphy!
What could be improved: I mentioned to front desk the slider glass door on shower was a bit wonky. Nice updated bathroom.

"Great location, lively clean room"
The location was brilliant, the room was lovely and clean
What could be improved: Someone walked into our room at 7am which was odd couldn’t settle after that, we had to pay an extra £30 to check in just an hour early , it was a very hot day and there was no air conditioning just a small fan in the room.
