"London Notting Hill visit September 2025"
The location was very convenient and close to a train station.
What could be improved: Nothing much. Just a note that it would be more convenient to get the key from the key store close to the Royal Oak station as it's closer to the apartment and also has bag storage.

"I wonder if there is a better platform for this apartment"
We did not check in.
What could be improved: If you plan to stay, please double check the outside of the building. We arrived after a 15 hour flight and stood in front of it around 8 pm on a Friday. Top floor on the right showed signs of a recent fire (this was in June 2025, so hopefully to more remains of that) including a wooden closure instead of a glass window. A drunk couple ran around shouting and arguing. I was honestly surprised to find such a building on booking.com So we took another one 300 meter down the road.

"Appartement décevant par manque d'attention des propriétaires"
Le petit immeuble est implanté dans un quartier pavillonnaire typique et à 10 mn à pied de Notting Hill et de portobello road .L'emplacement est parfait au calme avec accès sécurisé par digicode , à 100 mètres de la station de métro Royal Oak ( l'yper centre est à 20 minutes ) et à 150 mètres du quartier commercant avec grand supermarché .
What could be improved: L'appartement est fonctionnel mais il est vieillot ,usé par les locations succéssives, les tapis sont usés notamment celui du salon qui est sale (nous l'avons mis de coté du tout le sejour) ,la table du salon est usée et n'etait pas très propre à l'arrivée ,coté cuisine le plan de travail est usé et moisi autour de l'evier,certains ustensiles de cuisine sont à changer ( poêle ), coté salle de bain les joints de carrelage laissent à désirer et les wc sont décellés du mur... bref cet appartement devait être parfait au regard des photos mais décevant car il mérite une bonne rénovation et de l'attention de la part des propriétaires pour accueillir des locataires !
