Luxury Chic Apartment near Canary Wharf, Excel, O2 & Stratford sits in Tower Hamlets, and honestly, the location surprised me in the best way. You’re tucked into this residential pocket of East London that feels genuinely local — none of that touristy hustle you get closer to central areas. The building itself, Biscott House, has this modern understated vibe that doesn’t scream at you, which I actually appreciated after dealing with some of London’s more… theatrical accommodations.
The Space Itself
Walking into this four-star place, you immediately get why they call it “chic” — there’s this clean, contemporary design that feels put-together without being sterile. The apartment layout works brilliantly because you’re not cramped into a standard hotel box. I mean, having actual space to spread out your stuff and a proper kitchen area makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The main room flows nicely, and the windows let in decent light even on those typical grey London days.
Getting Around East London
Here’s what I loved — you’re genuinely well-positioned for exploring East London’s business and entertainment hubs without the premium prices of staying right in Canary Wharf. The Excel Centre is actually reachable, the O2 Arena isn’t a nightmare journey, and Stratford (with all its shopping and Olympic Park) feels accessible. You know what though? It’s not just about the big destinations — this area has some solid local pubs and cafés that you stumble across, which gives you that authentic London neighborhood feel.
Practical Stuff That Matters
The parking situation is way better than most central London spots, which honestly saved me a headache. Transport links work well enough — you’re not on the Tube map’s most glamorous lines, but you can get where you need to go without too much fuss. The building’s pretty quiet, and I appreciated that after some previous London stays where paper-thin walls made sleep a challenge.

This place hits that sweet spot for travelers who want proper accommodation in London without paying Mayfair prices or dealing with cramped quarters. Location was very close to tube station. Communication was very good.
What could be improved: It would have been helpful to have a tea towel but everything else was fine or dealt with promptly.

"Nice app close to tube station"
We were looking for the apartment near tube station which had 3 bedrooms - this one exceeded our expectations. Very nice app with everything you need.

"Clean, modern apartments located close to the tube station."
The property was located close to a tube station and was perfect location for our foo fighters gig at the London stadium. The apartment is very modern and the communication with owner was brilliant.

"Superb"
Location was very good, with a shop and the local tube station no more than 5 minutes away. Good size bedrooms, beds etc, everything all clean and friendly host. Stayed for an event at the 02 and was no more than 15 mins on the tube/overground which was very convenient
What could be improved: The apartment itself wasn't the easiest to find but that was largely due to the area.

"Good"
The apartment was a very clean well appointed apt. In a quiet location close to the train station.
What could be improved: The directions to get there and it lacked a welcome pack giving details of wifi, heating etc

"Very good"
Great location, close underground especially for O2. Little sainsbury 2 minute walk from apartment. Beds very comfortable. Quite modern, spacious 4 adults stayed. Very attentive host via message to check all OK and accommodated early check in. All around a very smooth transactions.

"Family stay for birthday weekend"
The apartment was booked so we could all be together as a family as opposed to being in hotel rooms. The inside of the apartment is pleasing to the eye, however, not from the outside.
The communication from the owner was very good.
The beds were comfy.
What could be improved: The general cleanliness wasn't great. If this is being done by a paid cleaner, I would have to question the work being done. The dishwasher, although not used, was very dirty and greasy along with the extractor hood, caked in grease and grime. The shower head was full of limescale, so many of the holes weren't letting water out when showering.
The advertisement is pretty miss leading, saying the apartment is near canary wharf. It was at least a 10 minute drive, although in London traffic, you are looking at more like half an hour.

"Exceptional"
Clean,tidy, and comfortable with great facilities. We used Uber to get back and forth the train station and shopping centre, which was less than £10.
What could be improved: The area was a bit run down.

"Perfect for a visit to the ABBA Arena"
It was well situated. the metro to the London city centre was at a 5 minute walk. A train to the ABBA Arena was a 5- minute walk the other way. in the appartement everything one might need was available.

Lage zu ABBA Voyage war klasse, in die Stadt gute Anbindung an Metronetz.
Betten gut, ausreichend Handtücher.
Vermieter war immer sehr gut zu erreichen.
What could be improved: Abends leider sehr laut durch Fußball- und Basketballfelder direkt an der Wohnung. Große Gruppen, die ewig lange und laut diskutiert haben.
Nur 4 Stühle, Wohnung ist aber für 6 ausgerichtet, keine Teller, Kaffeemaschine ging leidlich, nachdem wir sie erst einmal entkalkt hatten.
