London’s Central East End 2 Bedroom City Apartments sits right on Globe Road in Tower Hamlets — honestly, when I first walked up to the building, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places don’t need flashy exteriors. This four-star property delivers exactly what it promises: proper self-catering accommodation in one of London’s most rapidly evolving neighborhoods.

Location & Getting Around

The East End location actually works brilliantly once you get your bearings. Mile End tube station is walkable, which puts you on the Central line — I mean, that’s your direct route to Oxford Street, the City, and basically everywhere else you need to go. What surprised me was how much character this area has; you’ve got Regent’s Canal nearby for morning walks, and Victoria Park is close enough for a proper weekend stroll.

The Apartment Setup

Each apartment comes with two bedrooms, which makes these perfect for families or friends traveling together. The kitchen is properly equipped — not just the bare minimum you sometimes get with serviced apartments. I actually cooked a few meals here, and everything worked as it should. The living space feels more like staying in someone’s well-maintained flat rather than a sterile hotel room.

Neighborhood Character

Here’s what I really liked about staying here — you’re in proper London, not tourist London. There’s a brilliant Sunday market at Columbia Road (about 15 minutes away), and the local pubs have that authentic East End feel without being intimidating. The area’s changed so much over the years, but it still has this genuine working-class character that you don’t find in Zone 1 anymore.

"Perfect stay, no issues 😄"
Found this place last minute as our original booking cancelled on the morning we were meant to arrive! Booked 5 hours before arrival. As described and in images. Location was ace, across the road from a Sainsbury’s and same distance round the corner from a Tesco. Pub is 2min walk away and lots of eateries along the man road. Accommodation was clean, cosy and Droo was super friendly and welcoming. It was quite warm, due to a good spell and being not a first floor flat but we had two massive fans to use which was a dream! Everything explained on arrival, good facilities, and check out was even easier. Communicated well by text and phone and we felt very safe as a group. Would stay again!
What could be improved: Nothing to note about accommodation. In a busy area until late at night, didn’t bother us. And once windows are closed it pretty quiet.

Just steps from underground... literally. Two grocery stores a minute away from apartment. Apartment clean and well maintained.
What could be improved: A little bit noisy as it is located right above a street, but this is what you expect when you are visiting a city like London

"Booked the property last minute. Clean house in an amazing location in London, fantastic owner."
Clean and cozy apartment. Amazing location with a shop on the other side of a street and a minute walk from the Underground station. Perfect base for visiting London, with comfortable beds and enough space to rest after a day. The host lives in the building, he was very nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of suggestions on what to see in London, some paper guides and offered to provide all accessories we'd need, from umbrellas to blankets.
What could be improved: A bit noisy from the street even at night but that is to be expected from such location.

"Convenience & comfortable"
I like the apartment a lot. It was so comfortable and provide all basic things that we need such as cooking utensils, plates, fork & spoon, washing machine and the bedroom is really nice too. The place is super convenience, train station and bus stop is just across the road and no hassle to go to the station. Location: 10/10. Convenience! Food: Easy to get food, halal food especially. Plenty of halal restaurant nearby. There are two convenience stores close by place and it was sooo easy to get everything we need. The host is friendly and super kind to provide us help with our luggage. Key collection & return is easy as well. He even suggests us a nice markets to visit on the weekend :) Overall, it is a very nice place to stay and will definitely stay again if we are in town.
What could be improved: None.

The location was great. Right next to the underground station and one stop from Elisabeth Line, so easy and fast trip to Heathrow airport. We really liked the decor and the rooms were spacious.

wonderful interior decoration, an awesome kitchen, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. I want to stay here again! and the super market was directly across the street
What could be improved: the shower was a bit hot, but the host offered to change the temperature if we needed, but we were tired so we just took a hot shower haha.
