Overview
First Impressions
Lee’s House sits on a quiet residential street in Uxbridge, and honestly, you might walk past it if you’re not paying attention. It’s not trying to be flashy — this three-star spot feels more like staying at someone’s well-maintained family home than a traditional hotel. The building has that classic British charm without being stuffy about it, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup.
The Neighborhood Scene
What I really appreciate about this location is how it puts you right in a proper residential area of Uxbridge, away from the usual tourist traps. You’re about a 10-minute walk from the town center, which means you get the authentic local experience without sacrificing access to shops and transport links. The area’s genuinely quiet at night — you know, the kind of quiet where you can actually sleep with the windows open. Plus, if you need to get into central London, Uxbridge station on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines is easily walkable.
Room Experience
My room was simple but thoughtfully put together — clean lines, decent lighting, and everything you actually need without the unnecessary frills. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed stiffness, and there’s proper storage space for your stuff. What struck me was how homey it felt; there were little touches like good reading lights and enough electrical outlets (thank goodness) that showed someone had actually thought about what guests would want.
Practical Details
The staff here genuinely seem to care about making your stay work well, which isn’t something you can take for granted. They’re the type who’ll remember your name and actually give you useful local recommendations rather than just pointing you toward the nearest chain restaurant. Parking is available, which is honestly a relief in this part of London — you don’t realize how much of a headache that can be until you’re driving around looking for a spot at 9 PM.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Lee’s House isn’t going to wow you with a fancy lobby or room service, but that’s sort of the point. It’s the kind of place that does the basics really well and lets you experience Uxbridge like you actually live there for a few days. The value is solid — you’re getting a clean, comfortable base without paying for amenities you probably won’t use anyway. If you want to explore this corner of London properly, or if you just prefer staying somewhere that feels authentic rather than corporate, this little gem delivers exactly what it promises.
Guest reviews
"We had our team stay for several weeks, booking it weekly. comfortable for 6 men and adequate parkin"
The house was near to where our project was and was central to takeaways, etc. Parking was off-site and adequate for two vehicles.
What could be improved: N/A

"Property was spacious; but property could resemble pictures from the listing better and be cleaner"
The property was well-located, and the rooms were spacious.
What could be improved: The kitchen facilities weren't very clean, and the garden did not look like the photo on the booking.com website. There were a couple of things (i.e., curtain rail, bed headboard, freezer drawer) that were broken. Some minor changes could improve the property; i.e., light bulbs in lamps, a cleaner garden, and clean kitchen utensils.

"Very good"
Location, bathrooms.
What could be improved: Cleanliness, Everything is falling apart (doors, handles, hinges, floor boards, etc), the whole house is creaky, yard is outright ugly and not useable ... full of overgrown weeds, abandoned furniture and trash, No clothes dryer, No dishwasher, dining table chairs and table are falling apart.
Basically the whole house needs a gut renovation.

"1 lees road july 2024"
Excellent location for London & theme parks. Parking for 2 cars or 3 at a tight squash. 5 great ensuite bathrooms and kitchen well fitted out. We had 4 adults and 7 kids and all had a good time and would definitely go back as it provided great bedroom options. Would recommend anyone who can live with a bit of imperfection to book this house
What could be improved: A few of the beds were uncomfortable and need to be replaced. We put kids in them and they were fine but an adult would have been uncomfortable. Some small maintenance issues but nothing worthwhile talking about. No blackout curtains so rooms were never dark due to street lights, we put up bin bags to combat that.

"We had a great stay there and enjoyed the 3 runs in Uxbridge, the vine pub ( the burgers are excellent) and a surprising"
As a group of 8 men it suited us just fine
Plenty of beds large rooms, all en-suite
Big kitchen with all appliances and enough room to sit around on our return
What could be improved: Could do with a bit of minor maintenance
Curtain rails refitting, wardrobe handles hinges and a replacement door but nothing too major, few cracks here and there.

"Would recommend but small fixes needed."
The house is in a very good location with easy access to shops and public transport.
Each room was distinctive and had everything required for our stay.
What could be improved: One bed was unsleepable on due to it being broken or damaged beforehand.
Some black mould in bathing areas.

"Pleasant enough and did what we needed it to"
En-suites in every room except 1, which made getting ready a lot easier. Local to where we needed to be. Plenty of storage in rooms and kitchen, lots of fridge space etc.
What could be improved: Could do with some TLC, beds not all that comfy and some definitely need new mattresses. Shower base cracked quite badly in one room and extractor not working properly so everything got soaked. Tumble dryer not working, not that we needed it. Rats running around the garden so we didn’t go out in it. Quite noisy outside as you’re near a main road but that can’t be helped, noisy inside too as you can here people upstairs as the floor is so creaky. Lounge quite small for amount of rooms/people staying. Fire door in kitchen broken and doesn’t close properly. Photos on advert are old and doesn’t depict how the property is now.

"As expected and well worth it"
Ensuite in each room so fully flexible
What could be improved: Not enough chairs in the dining area. Only ten knives and forks so we had to buy some more! Only just enough plates and bowls. As it sleeps 14/15 it would be nice if the kitvhen had enough to reflect this!
