First Impressions
When I first stepped into Large Modern One Bedroom Apartment (nearly 800 ft), I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what sounds like a pretty basic listing name. But you know what? This four-star place completely surprised me. The space feels genuinely spacious — and I mean actually spacious, not just London-spacious where you can barely swing a cat.
Location & Getting Around
The location on Chiswick High Road is actually pretty smart if you ask me. You’re in London but not drowning in the chaos of central zones, which means you can still get a proper night’s sleep. The Turnham Green tube station is close enough that you won’t be dragging your luggage for ages, and honestly, Chiswick has this nice village-y feel that most visitors never discover. There’s decent parking around too, though you’ll want to check the restrictions.
The Space Itself
The apartment lives up to its promise — those 800 square feet aren’t just marketing fluff. The room has proper breathing space, and the modern bit isn’t just IKEA furniture thrown together (though there’s nothing wrong with IKEA, obviously). The kitchen is actually functional, not one of those tiny galley things where you can barely make toast. I mean, you could genuinely cook a proper meal here if you wanted to skip the pub for a night.
What Works Really Well
The thing that struck me most was how quiet it gets at night — Chiswick High Road can be busy during the day, but it settles down beautifully once evening hits. The apartment feels more like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel box. Plus, you’ve got all the little touches that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a quick overnight — proper storage space, decent lighting for reading, that sort of thing.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea if you want to stumble out your door straight into Covent Garden. But if you appreciate having genuine space to spread out, a proper base to explore London from, and a neighborhood that feels authentically local, this place makes a lot of sense. The 9.2 rating doesn’t come from nowhere — guests clearly appreciate getting more room for their money without sacrificing quality or connectivity to the rest of the city.

Everything was great the bed was the most comfortable bed had a great night's sleep had everything you need was clean tidy and a lovely size would definitely stay again.

"Very comfortable apartment"
Easy place to stay. Well appointed and very comfy. Easy check in, good communication, comfortable bed, great shower. The kitchen was well provisioned (although a few teabags would have been appreciated). It’s also very quiet.
What could be improved: Nothing.

"Excellent choice"
Fantastic location. Easy access from Heathrow, and into central London. Close to trains, busses and shops, Restaurants. Very comfortable furniture and bed. Lots of space. Good neigbourhood, aways felt safe. Amazing communication from owner.

"It had everything I needed for a good stay in London!"
It was an amazing large and clean apartment near everything (station, restaurants and grocery). And the host was so kind and helpful during my stay. He responded very quickly to my communications. (Actually the receptionist was very kind as well when I needed assistance. ) I would gladly stay again!
What could be improved: nothing! Everything was great!

"High quality apartment. Would definitely recommend and book again."
Lovely spacious well-equipped apartment, and very close to numerous amenities. Very good proactive communication from Paul. Although there isn't any parking, there is parking on the streets around the apartment and there is an area just by the flat that you can pull onto to drop off cases which is very handy.
What could be improved: The instructions for the oven are a bit complicated but Paul pointed us to YouTube videos which definitely helped. I am sure if we had had any other queries, he would have helped with those as well.

"Excellent apartment to stay in"
Very clean spacious quiet and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. It was nice to be able to leave bedroom courtyard doors open at night. Easy walk to Chiswick Park tube & shops. Paul kindly offered to help with bags from station and it was good to be met by someone rather than a key code. We would definitely stay again.
What could be improved: Nothing. Would have been nice to have shampoo and shower gel and coffee pods as we couldn’t find the right ones. Instructions written by a ‘human’ would have been more helpful for the appliances so we didn’t end up using the oven

"Great flat, great location with a very helpful host."
Great location with easy access to transport links for both central London and the airport. Good local restaurants, bars and shops on the doorstep. Flat had everything we needed for a city break. Host was great and was able to accommodate our request for early access which was really helpful.
What could be improved: The heating was a bit of a mystery so the flat was always warm. There were plenty of fans which helped, along with opening the windows, but possibly fortunate the weather was reasonably cool for July.
