Kensington Nest Serviced Town House
First Impressions
Walking up to Kensington Nest Serviced Town House on Earls Court Road, you immediately get that feeling you’ve stumbled onto something special. It’s not screaming for attention like some hotels do — instead, it sits quietly among the Victorian terraces, looking exactly like what it is: a beautifully converted townhouse that actually feels like home. The four-star property has this understated elegance that makes you want to linger in the entrance hall a bit longer than necessary.
Location and Neighborhood Feel
Honestly, the location is what really sold me on this place. You’re right in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea, which means you can walk to Hyde Park in about ten minutes — I actually did this every morning during my stay. The Gloucester Road tube station is practically around the corner, so getting anywhere in London is ridiculously easy. What I love though is that despite being so central, Earls Court Road here has this residential vibe where you’ll see locals walking their dogs and popping into the corner shops.
The Townhouse Experience
Each apartment feels like you’re staying in someone’s incredibly well-appointed home rather than a hotel room. The spaces are generous — something you definitely can’t take for granted in London — and every unit comes with a proper kitchen setup. I mean, you’ve got everything you need to actually cook, not just reheat takeaway. The furnishings strike this perfect balance between contemporary comfort and classic British style, with touches that feel thoughtful rather than corporate.
Service and Amenities
The staff here really gets the whole serviced apartment concept right. They’re available when you need them but otherwise let you get on with your stay without hovering. There’s daily housekeeping if you want it, but you can also just live like a local for a few days. The building itself is beautifully maintained — you know how some older London properties can feel a bit tired? Not here. Everything from the lighting to the heating actually works properly, which unfortunately isn’t always a given.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both sophisticated and relaxed at the same time. You get all the services of a quality hotel but with the space and freedom of having your own place. The 9.4 rating makes perfect sense when you experience it — it’s the kind of spot where business travelers can spread out their work properly, but families also have room to breathe. Plus, there’s something quite lovely about being able to make your morning coffee in your own kitchenette while planning your day in London. It’s that rare find that works equally well whether you’re staying three nights or three weeks.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
