The Iconic London Apartment sits on a quiet residential street in Golders Green, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re staying in an apartment rather than a traditional hotel. The building itself feels solid and London-proper — none of that glass-and-steel modern stuff you see everywhere now. When I first walked up to number 26, I actually appreciated how understated it looked from the street.
The Space Itself
This four-star setup gives you proper living space, which makes all the difference if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The room layouts vary, but what struck me most was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic London flat feeling while still making everything work for travelers. The kitchen situation is particularly well thought out — you’ve got everything you need to make breakfast or grab a quick bite without having to venture out every single time you’re hungry.
Location & Getting Around
Golders Green might not be Zone 1, but here’s what I learned: the Northern Line connection is actually brilliant. You’re looking at maybe 20 minutes to get into central London, and the neighborhood itself has this lived-in quality that tourist areas just don’t have. There’s proper local shops, decent cafes, and — this matters more than you’d think — you can find parking on the street if you’ve got a car.
What Makes It Work
The 8.4 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be flashy, but everything functions the way it should. The staff know the area well enough to give you actual recommendations rather than just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. I mean, they told me about this little bakery around the corner that I never would have found otherwise.

Very nice apartment with great facilities and location. The host was also very responsive and helpful even though the day 1 experience was not so great following an early arrival from an overnight international flight.
What could be improved: The shower cubicle was somewhat tight and the fact that a guest who arrives early with an international flight has nowhere to stay or drop off luggage until the current occupant checks out and the apartment is cleaned. Also it was a challenge using the mobile Air conditioner.

Great location, short walk to tube and buses.
The kitchen is well equipped. It had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.

Uri is a very good host, replies very fast and fixes things quickly if needed. The flat is spacious and well equipped.
What could be improved: It took a while to find the place, the house numbers dont follow the usual order. The bedroom is sort of located in the lower ground.

"Spotless, but air conditioning needs improvement."
The apartment was absolutely spotless! Everything we needed was provided. Loved the location, very close to metro station into central London. We would definitely stay here again!
What could be improved: The only reason we did not give a perfect score was the air conditioning. There is only one portable unit on the main floor, that was not set up when we arrived. Mother and daughter trip in mid August and it was very hot. After calling husband in the States to walk us through setup, it finally cooled down. Only a small fan in the bedroom, but it was partially underground so cooler. The owner/ manager was out of town, so we were on our own. Plenty of windows when weather is not as hot.

"Superb"
This place is amazing! It looks exactly like the pictures. The locations was great, super close to the station from which you can get to the city centre in 20 minutes.
What could be improved: Everything was great, however if you are with more than two people the sleeping area in the living room is very light in the early morning because of the roof thing. This means getting woken up very early by the light, so do take that into account and maybe bring a sleep mask!
