Overview
First Impressions
Fab flat isn’t your typical hotel — it’s one of those unique boutique hotel without official star rating properties that makes you wonder why more places don’t take this approach. Tucked away on a quiet residential street in Brentford, it feels more like staying at a friend’s incredibly well-designed place than checking into standard accommodation. The moment you walk in, you realize this is someone’s passion project, and honestly, it shows in every detail.
The Space
What strikes you first is how thoughtfully everything’s been put together. The main room has this perfect balance of modern comfort and homey touches — nothing feels sterile or overly polished. There’s a compact but fully equipped kitchen that actually makes you want to cook rather than just heat up leftovers. I mean, when’s the last time you found a place where someone clearly thought about how travelers really live, not just sleep?
Location & Getting Around
Brentford’s one of those London areas that locals know about but tourists often miss. You’re genuinely close to everything without being in the thick of tourist chaos. The Piccadilly line runs right through here, so getting to central London is straightforward — no complicated transfers or lengthy walks to stations. What I really appreciate is the neighborhood itself; there are proper local pubs, a decent grocery store nearby, and you can actually find parking if you’re driving (which is sort of miraculous for London).
The Details That Matter
You know what makes this place work? It’s the small stuff that most hotels get wrong. The Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner, the shower has proper water pressure, and there are enough outlets where you need them. The hosts have clearly stayed in enough disappointing places themselves because they’ve solved all those tiny frustrations that add up. Plus, they’re around if you need something but not hovering — that perfect balance that’s harder to find than you’d think.
Why Guests Love It
After staying here, I get why it has a 9.3 rating. It’s not trying to be fancy or impress anyone — it’s just genuinely comfortable and well-thought-out. You’ll find yourself actually relaxing instead of working around the usual hotel annoyances. For the price point, especially considering you get a proper kitchen and space to spread out, it’s honestly pretty brilliant. Whether you’re in London for work or exploring, this feels like a real base rather than just somewhere to crash.

"Absolutely amazing and unforgettable ❤️"
We absolutely loved everything about this flat. We felt like home, was extremely clean and cozy. We were blown away by the fact that it had a little bit of everything in case you forgot to bring something with you. My husband really enjoyed the complimentary little bottle of Prosecco and Netflix 😁🥰 and my little one enjoyed fruits, biscuits and lollipop. I highly recommend this flat!!! The host was extremely nice, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for everything ❤️. It definitely made our visit to London special, especially after exploring all day was amazing to come home to super cosy and comfortable beds and fluffy towels 🥰❤️.

"Lovely flat that will make you feel at home"
An amazing flat located in a lovely area, full of parks, shops and plenty of things to explore, as well as conveniently close to a bus stop that allows you to switch to the metro and be in Central London within an hour.
The apartment is just as seen in pictures, very clean, homely, and has everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It is also extremely quiet despite being located relatively close to a highway, with good sound isolation.
We rented the flat with a friend, with one of us sleeping in the bedroom and the other one using the couch in the living room and both had a very relaxing rest, the host was kind enough to provide us enough pillows and blankets to ensure we weren't lacking anything.
What could be improved: Can't think of anything, everything was superb, I genuinely wish I could live there full-time.
