The Elegant Serviced Apartment Studio – Central London sits right on The Broadway in Wimbledon, and honestly, the location caught me off guard in the best way possible. You’re not in the heart of tourist central, but you’re in this vibrant South London neighborhood that feels refreshingly real. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense London feel — nothing flashy, but you can tell it’s been thoughtfully converted into serviced apartments.
The Studio Space
Walking into the room, I was impressed by how they’ve maximized every inch without making it feel cramped. The kitchenette is actually functional — not one of those token setups where you can barely boil water. I mean, you’ve got proper counter space, a decent-sized fridge, and everything you need to prepare real meals if you want to save money or just fancy cooking. The bed area flows naturally into the living space, and there’s enough storage that you won’t be living out of your suitcase for the entire stay.
Wimbledon Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about staying in Wimbledon — you get this perfect balance of local London life without the tourist crowds. The Broadway is lined with shops, cafes, and that massive Centre Court shopping center if you need anything. You know what’s brilliant? You’re a short walk from Wimbledon Common, which feels like having your own private park (well, sort of). The tube connections are solid too — you can be in central London in about 20 minutes, but you actually want to hang around the area.
Practical Perks
This four-star setup really delivers on the practical stuff that matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The wifi actually works properly — I was working from the apartment without any issues. Housekeeping comes regularly but doesn’t make you feel like you’re being watched, and there’s laundry facilities which is honestly a lifesaver for longer stays. The whole building feels secure and well-maintained, though it’s not trying to be some fancy boutique experience.
Why Guests Love It
What strikes me most is how this place gets the balance right between hotel service and apartment independence. You’ve got your own space to spread out, cook if you want, and live like a local, but there’s still proper support when you need it. The Wimbledon location means you’re experiencing London beyond the usual tourist bubble — grabbing coffee with locals, shopping where Londoners actually shop, and taking evening walks through one of the city’s most charming commons. For the price point and the space you get, it’s honestly hard to beat, especially if you’re staying more than a few days.

"Very good"
Super spacious for two people with a big refrigerator. Great location close to metro station. It takes about 10-15 minute walk to the metro, but if you don't want that you can take 131 bus which takes you to closer to the station and the house.
The entrance was a bit narrow but no problem with a suitcase.
There are also coffee shops near which opens early and closes late, which was super convenient for me.
Host is super friendly and reply super fast even late at night.
What could be improved: The boiler constantly went off, so we had to contact the host for first few days. They responded super fast, and taught how to control the boiler. It went on and off during my entire stay (9 days), but once reset, it worked perfectly.
There were some spices/sauces for cooking, but I wasn't sure how old they were so did not end up using them.
Some of the drawers were not clean. Hair was rolling around, so did not end up using it.
One towel per person was provided for the entire stay. I wish there were more towels provided for people who stay relatively longer. But you can always contact the host and get extra towels with extra charge.

"Very good"
Good location, reasonable price, comfy bed. Good communication with the vendor.
What could be improved: Heating could use some clearer instructions, I couldn't get the heater to work.

"Worth the money"
Contact and support were flawless. Very helpful and responsive. Fully equipped if you want to cook. Big plus that this place has heating! And it's also in a quiet area, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Beautiful and cozy neighborhood as well, with supermarkets, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby.
What could be improved: Bed is comfy but small for people over 180 cm. Also, a new set of pillows would be a great upgrade! Only one toilet paper roll available, you need to buy your own. The kettle was previously used to make coffee and left unwashed, unfortunately it was unusable. Only two medium towels for two people, an extra set would've helped. Also, no sponge or detergent to wash dishes. And the bin in the bathroom had no bag in it, would've appreciated it.

The apartment was lovely and clean. It had everything we wanted and was in a great location.

"Perfect area and cozy vibes"
The area is very peaceful and very convenient to get around the metro. Easy access to cafes and grocery stores nearby. Very close to the city centre. Highly recommend.

The location, the decoration, the hygiene, the balcony, the cordiality and helpfulness of the staff in quickly sending someone to help when I didn't know how to adjust the heater. I loved everything.

"Below average"
Good communication with provider. Had the very basics, but very ordinary.
What could be improved: Pictures provided on site are very old, not current, therefore misleading. Apartment had no working fan and no air-conditioning. Had to have the windows open to try and cool the apartment, only to have an air-compressor running all night, next to the window. Place is tired and needs updating. Sheets were winter ones, instead of ones suitable for summer. Only given two towels, no floor towel. Place was hard to find, details haven't been updated. Misleading distance to Wimbledon. Terrible entrance way. TV placed in Kitchen area, not able to watch as not able to relax or sit near. If I had seen current photos earlier I wouldn't have stayed there. Extremely expensive for facilities.

"Szép és kényelmes, jó tömegközlekedéssel."
Kellemes a környék, a szállás könnyen megtalálható. Két metróvonal is elérhető 10 és 15 perc séta távolságban, valamint több élelmiszerbolt, kávézó, könyvesbolt, éttermek, pláza, park és igazából szerintem minden van a közelben, ami szükséges. A belváros fél óra alatt elérhető.
A szállás kényelmes és modern, csak annak nem ajánlom, aki az ablakból szeretné csodálni a kilátást.
What could be improved: A fürdőszobában nagyon pici a mosdókagyló, de igazából ez másodlagos volt.
