The Space
This four-star studio is actually what I’d call properly designed, not just thrown together. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional — you can actually cook a real meal here, which is rare for London accommodations in this price range. The room flows well from sleeping area to living space without feeling cramped, and there’s enough storage that you won’t be living out of a suitcase for your entire stay.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what you need to know about this part of Islington — it’s brilliantly connected but still feels residential. You’re about a 10-minute walk to Holloway Road tube station, which puts you one stop from King’s Cross. The local pubs around here are the kind where you’ll find yourself chatting with neighbors over a pint, not fighting through crowds of tourists.
Local Life
The morning coffee situation is sorted with a couple of independent cafés within a few minutes’ walk — I mean, this is North London, so good coffee is basically a given. There’s a Tesco Express nearby for basics, but honestly, the weekend farmers market at Islington Green (about 15 minutes on foot) is where you want to do your shopping if you’re planning to use that kitchen.

What really works about this place is how it strikes that balance between being in London but not feeling overwhelmed by it. You can walk to Camden Market in about 20 minutes if you want the chaos, or stay local and explore the quieter side of Islington. "The apartment was in a great location and was very comfortable, we would stay here again"
The property was very close to tube station and Aldi supermarket, it had plenty of nice glasses to enjoy a wine
What could be improved: There were a lot of narrow stairs which we knew about before we booked but more stairs than we thought.

"Great value for money"
Good size, excellent kitchen facilities, big bathroom, very light, comfortable
What could be improved: The door codes were really temperamental to use and took multiple attempts across 3 different doors to get into the apartment. This should be changed.

"Exceptional"
We loved our stay at Eden Grove.Everything is just perfect .Very clean and beautiful.The apartment is located very close to the Holloway Road underground station making it perfect to go everywhere.Lots of supermarkets nearby too. We love staying here when we are in London!

"Great stay in lovely studio apt . Close to tube stop on Piccadilly line . Got us to most places ."
The apt was really well appointed with the little extras , which made the difference . As international tourists we appreciated the coffee , tea , toilet paper , dishwashing tablets , shampoo and conditioner supplied . Thank you .

"Comfortable and well-located, but security concerns over widely shared access codes left us uneasy."
The hotel’s location was very convenient, with easy access to the Piccadilly line tube station and bus stops nearby. There were also grocery stores and restaurants within a short walk, which was helpful.
The apartment itself was small but well decorated and equipped with what we needed. Perfect for two people. It was generally quiet, with only some minor traffic sounds that didn’t disturb us. The washer/dryer in the unit was useful.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a central area.
What could be improved: While the apartment itself was comfortable and well-located, we had significant concerns about security. To access the apartment, we were provided three door codes for the front gate, building door, and apartment entry. These codes were sent to us via text and through a YouTube video that had already been viewed nearly 300 times. This raised concerns, as it meant that previous guests—or anyone they shared the codes with—could potentially access the apartment.
We brought this issue up with the hosts, and they did remove the YouTube video, but they were unable to change the codes during our one-week stay. This left us feeling uneasy about security throughout our visit, as the lack of unique or regularly updated codes made it difficult to feel fully safe and secure in the apartment.

"Highly recommend this stunning apartment"
The apartment was perfect! It is really nicely fitted/decorated and has everything you need. The location couldn’t be any better for visiting the Emirates, is within walking distance of lots of cafes/restaurants, and a 2min walk from the tube. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend!

"overall the property is lovely, but it did miss having a few essential items needed on a short stay"
What could be improved: The Host upon check out.
At the end of my stay I had a very unsavoury call from the host accusing me of staining sheets and breaking a mirror which was absolutely not the case. I then told them I had videos of my check in/check out to prove it and then I never heard back from him. Not sure if he has been given wrong information from the cleaners or was trying to scam me but either way it was most unpleasant.

"A must for anyone visiting London"
We had a great stay. Place was spotless, bright and really spacious. Exactly what we were looking for with an open plan living space. Lovely location too, short walk to the tube. Really liked this property entrance too. Very private. Would highly recommend.
What could be improved: Only thing I would say is how warm the apartment was. Appreciate nothing you can do about that when it’s really sunny other than close the curtains. Fan helped loads at night though.
