Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Deluxe Townhouse Zone 1 Brick Lane on Grimsby Street, you’d honestly never guess what’s waiting inside. The exterior blends right into the row of Victorian buildings, but step through that front door and you’re in for something special. This four-star townhouse has that rare quality where it feels both polished and genuinely homey — not an easy balance to strike in London.
Location & What’s Around
You know what I love about this spot? You’re literally a two-minute walk from all the Brick Lane action, but Grimsby Street itself stays relatively quiet. The famous curry houses and vintage shops are right there when you want them, but you can actually get some sleep at night. Liverpool Street station is maybe a 10-minute walk, which honestly makes getting anywhere in London pretty straightforward. And if you’re into the whole Shoreditch scene — the galleries, the street art, the weekend markets — well, you’re basically in the heart of it all.
The Townhouse Experience
This isn’t your typical hotel setup, and that’s exactly the point. Each apartment feels more like staying in a friend’s really nice place than a standard hotel room. The kitchenette situation is actually useful — I mean, you’ve got proper appliances and enough space to make a decent breakfast or store those Borough Market finds. The furnishings hit that sweet spot between modern and cozy, with enough character that you’re not staring at bland hotel walls.
Practical Stuff That Matters
Here’s what actually works about staying here: the WiFi is solid (important if you’re working), the shower pressure doesn’t disappoint, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of a suitcase. The parking situation is typical for this part of London — meaning there isn’t really any — but honestly, you don’t need a car here anyway. The staff knows their stuff about the neighborhood, which comes in handy when you’re trying to figure out where to grab dinner or which tube line actually runs on weekends.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve been here. It’s the kind of place that gets the details right — good coffee in the morning, blackout curtains that actually work, and enough space to spread out a bit. Plus, you’re staying in one of London’s most dynamic neighborhoods without paying those insane Zone 1 hotel prices you’ll find closer to the tourist traps. The whole experience feels authentic rather than manufactured, which honestly is getting harder to find in London these days.

"A great city break!"
A beautiful & quirky town house! Immaculately clean & had everything we needed and more! The host was always on hand pretty much instantly to answer questions and very helpful!
What could be improved: It’s located just off the east end of Brick Lane. We were fine but it an be quite intimidating walking there at night. Also the nearest underground station is Liverpool Street which is over half an hour’s walk.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Deluxe Townhouse! The location is fantastic — right by Brick Lane with excellent transport links, so getting around London was a breeze. The house was spotless, spacious, and felt very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out in the city. Plenty of room to spread out, and everything was well-kept. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting London!

"It was perfect and I will definitely call again!!"
It’s a beautiful apartment with lots of space . Great price for the amount of room there. It was clean and had everything you could need. A good sized bath tub, large fluffy towels, AC (in London big deal lol) and its location is great for walking to shops, food and more.
The Owner was amazing and he helped me get my bags to my spot.
And Blue, my English bull dog loved it to
What could be improved: The property was booked up and I wanted to stay lol . There were no dislikes.

"Brick lane visit ❤️"
It was set up so I could bring my baby. Having the cot was a great help. Place was fully equipped. Great location. Just watched Luther, and had many of the street scenes that were just two minutes away. The area has so much stuff to do.

"Gorgeous apartment in central location"
The property was so spacious and clean. For a group of 5 people we all had more than enough space and great facilities. We were right off brick lane and could easily get around. Will definitely book again if coming to London with a bigger group.
