Overview
First Impressions
Dalston Luxe Studios, 3 Miles away from Liverpool Train Station sits on a quiet stretch of Evering Road in Hackney, and honestly, the name pretty much tells you what you’re getting. This three-star property focuses on giving you a proper self-contained space rather than fancy hotel frills — which, in this part of London, actually makes a lot of sense. The building itself is modern without being flashy, and you’ll notice right away that it’s designed more like an apartment block than a traditional hotel.
The Neighborhood Reality
Hackney gets a mixed reputation, but this particular stretch is actually quite pleasant — tree-lined streets and a proper residential feel. You’re about a 10-minute walk to Dalston Junction, which puts you on the Overground network, so getting into central London isn’t complicated. The three miles to Liverpool Street sounds far, but the transport links work well once you figure them out. There’s a decent Turkish supermarket around the corner and some solid local pubs within walking distance, which gives you that authentic East London vibe without the tourist markup.
The Studio Setup
Each room is essentially a studio apartment with a proper kitchenette setup — and I mean proper, not just a mini-fridge and kettle. You get a decent-sized hob, microwave, and enough counter space to actually prepare meals if you want to save money or just prefer eating in. The sleeping area feels separate enough from the cooking space, which matters more than you’d think when you’re staying for more than a night or two.
Practical Considerations
The 7.4 rating makes sense when you consider what this place is trying to do. It’s clean, functional, and gives you independence — but don’t expect daily housekeeping or a fancy lobby restaurant. Parking is available, though you’ll want to confirm availability when booking since this is London and street parking around here can be a nightmare. The staff are helpful enough, but this isn’t the kind of place where someone’s constantly asking if you need anything.
Why Guests Love It
What works here is the value proposition, especially for longer stays or if you’re traveling with family. Having your own space and the ability to cook saves money and gives you flexibility that traditional hotels don’t offer. The location grows on you too — it’s real London rather than tourist London, and you’re still well-connected to everything you want to see. Just manage your expectations accordingly — this is about practical comfort rather than indulgent hospitality.

"Good"
Clean and comfortable, good location for train and bus, shop nearby
What could be improved: Confusion over access code delayed entry. Requires some routine maintenance. No hooks for hanging things.

"Perfect for a family stay"
The apartments were perfect for a stay with multiple family members. As soon as we opened the door, we could smell how clean it was. There was everything needed to make us very comfortable. Contact with the host, via WhatsApp was immediate, and the small issue immediately resolved.
What could be improved: The hall light was automatic and cut out in seconds, making it difficult to align the numbers on the key safe. I would also recommend black out curtains for room one.

What could be improved: Nothing I think all aspects where great

"Great for all I needed for 1 night."
Clean, comfy , great value for money. Late check out (12pm). Pain free check in too (key box)
What could be improved: Noisy location (railway directly adjacent)

"Very good"
Great location, just besides the overground station. Great to get to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and with great facilities around. Great neighbourhood and easy check in. Spotless clean.
What could be improved: There was some sort of renovation going on from 8am in the suite downstairs. Not sure if still going on, but it was a bit rough after a night out.

"Convenient and comfortable"
I loved the location. The bed was comfortable.
What could be improved: The blinds! May as well not had any. The room was too hot (but that’s London in the summer. I really appreciated the fan)
A mirror in the bathroom would be a big help as well.

"Very well equipped, comfortable studio right next to Rectory Road overground. Easy to gain access, clear instructions"
Very clean, small well equipped kitchenette. Small shower room. Large smart TV
What could be improved: Strange smell as you entered the front door, no mirror in the bathroom

"Very good"
All new and well maintained. Street Parking directly outside was really convenient. The bed was comfortable and everything was in good order.
What could be improved: A little lengthy with the access from the ground floor all the way through multiple doors to the op floor. However it felt safe and secure so can understand the reasoning. The ground floor of the building has an intense smell.

"Good value for money"
The accommodation exceeded my expectations, especially after seeing negative reviews online suggesting the place didn’t exist, which was not the case at all. It does exist and access was straightforward. I received my access pin promptly after requesting it, and customer service was satisfactory. The heater took a little while to warm up, but once it did, it worked very well and the room became quite warm. The shower worked well with consistent hot water. The beds were comfortable, and the sofa bed was a nice addition and worked well for two children. The location is excellent, very central, right next to the train station, with shops nearby.
What could be improved: The toilet had an unpleasant smell, which could likely be improved with better ventilation or air freshener. The walls are a bit thin, so noise can be heard. There were no mugs in my room, which would have been useful, and parking is street parking only rather than private.
Overall, despite these minor issues, I had a good stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

"Clean, modern and convenient."
Clean and modern. Decent kitchenette. Next to Rectory Road overground.
What could be improved: Noisy as walls thin. Loud music and singing from next door two nights in a row. There is just one electric heater so some evenings it was really cold. Nowhere to put clothes so had to leave them in my suitcase.
