Overview
First Impressions
Cozy Bliss Escape: Family – Friendly Getaway sits on a quiet residential street in Hammersmith, and honestly, the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. This four-star property feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed home than a traditional hotel — which is exactly what families with kids are looking for. The building itself blends right into the neighborhood’s Victorian architecture, so you’re not dealing with that sterile hotel lobby atmosphere.
Location & Neighborhood
Ryecroft Street is one of those tucked-away London addresses that locals know but tourists usually stumble upon by accident. You’re actually in a sweet spot here — close enough to the Thames that you can walk to the river in about ten minutes, but far enough from the main roads that you won’t hear buses rumbling past your window at 6 AM. The nearest tube station is a bit of a trek, I’ll be honest, but there’s a reliable bus route that’ll get you into central London without too much hassle.
The Accommodation
The room I stayed in felt spacious by London standards, with that homey vibe that makes traveling with family actually manageable. There’s a proper kitchenette setup — not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation — which means you can actually prepare simple meals instead of eating out for every single meal. The furniture looks like it was chosen by someone who understands that kids will be climbing on it, if you know what I mean. Everything’s sturdy but still comfortable enough for adults to relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Practical Details
What I appreciated most was how they’ve thought through the little things that matter when you’re traveling with children. There’s decent parking available, which is honestly a miracle in this part of London — most places just shrug and tell you to figure it out yourself. The staff seems genuinely used to dealing with families, not just tolerating them. They had recommendations for nearby playgrounds and even knew which local restaurant would be most patient with a toddler having a meltdown.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy interiors, but that’s sort of missing the point. Families come here because it works — there’s space to spread out, facilities that actually help when you’re managing kids and luggage and all the chaos that comes with family travel. The 7.1 rating reflects what it is: a solid, reliable choice that does exactly what it promises without any pretension. You’ll sleep well, the kids will have room to move around, and you won’t feel like you’re constantly apologizing for existing in the space.
London’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike routes to hidden mews streets.

"Great location, clean and comfortable accommodation. Would recommend."
Great location as we were working in the area. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Responsive host. Would recommend.
What could be improved: Shower door kept opening so had to stand in the corner of the bath so that the water didn't spill all over the floor.

"Disappointing"
What could be improved: The pic on advert i different to actual . Also 3weeks after our stay i got an email wanting money for damages. To me this is just a con I don't know who is responsible for this email but it's a disgrace trying to con people out of money
I just hope it wasn't booking. Com as I used them alot in the past .

"I strongly recommend NOT to rent this property until its fumigated and ensure the bugs are gone. Bedbugs are very tiny s"
At first the property looks ok and location is good. However, my son noticed that he developed rashes/bumps which are very itchy. He thought he has an allergy so he took anti allergy medication and applied cortisone in the affected areas. Until one day, he saw the bugs that's when we decided to leave. Please be aware that the bedbugs are very tiny.
What could be improved: The property is infested with bed bugs and other bugs. We left the property before the contract ended. I asked for a refund for the remaining days but did not get a response.

"Avoid like the plague!"
Lovely location. The property is dirty, holes in the walls, rubbish, bed bugs! smoke alarm is on the floor. The photo of the apartment on line is not correct.
What could be improved: There were bed bugs which spoilt the first week of our holiday - we had to move out early and my daughter was miserable for days. They are soooo itchy, like needles stabbing you! As soon as we complained they said they would seen an exterminator.
Place needs considerable maintenance- it's like a student flat at the moment!
There are holes in the walls! The paint finish is patchy, peeling, yuck.
Rubbish at the front entrance and the communal stairwell is dirty.
The address of the property was confusing which wasted a lot of time and generated considerable frustration.
Not suitable for families as the apartment is up several flights of very steep, narrow stairs and low opening windows are at ground level.
The flat was on the top story and was very hot although we were provided with fans when I asked which helped.
Very disappointing. The photos are a realistic image of the good walls but they don't show the several walls with holes in them!
I have complained to Bookings.com and will see what remuneration is forth coming.

"The lack of beds was a problem, but my questions about how to use the heating equipment were answered right away, and I"
It's a quiet residential area with all the necessary facilities for living, making it a comfortable stay.
What could be improved: It was listed as having 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, but there was only 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. There were also no equipment instructions, so I didn't know how to use the heating equipment, washing machine, stove, safe, or TV.

What could be improved: Leider waren trotz meiner Buchung für 4 Personen nur 3 Betten zu Verfügung gestellt.
