Overview
First Impressions
Cosy duplex in Central London sits on a quiet stretch of Harrowby Street, and honestly, you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking. That’s actually part of its charm — it feels more like staying at a friend’s place than checking into a hotel. The building has that classic London townhouse vibe, tucked away from the chaos but close enough that you can hear the city humming just around the corner.
The Space
The duplex setup is what really sets this place apart. You’ve got your living space on one level and the bedroom upstairs, which gives you room to actually spread out — something that’s pretty rare in London. The room itself feels spacious by London standards, and I mean that in the best way possible. There’s a proper kitchenette where you can make coffee without feeling like you’re performing surgery in a phone booth, and the whole place has this lived-in comfort that most hotels just can’t fake.
Location & Getting Around
Westminster Borough might sound all official and touristy, but this particular corner is surprisingly residential. You’re a five-minute walk from Edgware Road station, which gets you anywhere you need to go without the Oxford Street crowds. Baker Street is right there too, so you’ve got the Circle, Metropolitan, and Bakerloo lines at your fingertips. What I really love is that you can walk to Regent’s Park in about ten minutes — perfect for those mornings when you need to remember that London actually has green spaces.
The Neighborhood Feel
This part of town has that mix you only find in central London — tiny corner shops next to fancy gastropubs, with locals who’ve lived here for decades alongside people just passing through. There’s a good Lebanese place around the corner that’s open late, and honestly, the whole area feels safe to wander around at any hour. You know what’s nice? You can actually have a conversation on the street without shouting over traffic noise.
Why Guests Love It
For a four-star place, the Cosy duplex really delivers on that homey promise without skimping on the essentials. The Wi-Fi actually works (I know, revolutionary), there’s decent water pressure, and the heating keeps up with London’s moody weather. It’s not trying to be flashy or impress you with marble everything — instead, it just works really well for people who want a proper base in central London without paying West End prices. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you consider that most guests seem to be repeat visitors who’ve figured out this is one of those gems that doesn’t advertise itself much.

"Superb"
Easy, self serve
What could be improved: Water pressure for the shower was a little low, but overall experience still good

"Price–performance wise, it was good."
We visited London to see Christmas attractions such as Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, Selfridges on Oxford Street, and the decorations on Bond Street and Regent Street etc... so the location was perfect for us. The property is a bit old, but that didn’t bother us since we were out exploring all day. There were enough kitchenettes, and the rooms were spacious.
What could be improved: The sofa bed downstairs was really uncomfortable. There weren’t any towels for the sink, and there were no separate towels for hair—only body towels. There was also no soap at the sink, although we eventually found some under the kitchen sink

"Well located apartmebt"
I can only comment of unit 4. The location was 1st rate. Food shops everywhere and 2 doors down a little pub. All the facilities where working and we could log into our Netflix account. Having a washing machine was perfect.
What could be improved: As with all motels they seemed to have dropped the sheet and use doonas only. Very hot. Would have been nice to have a sheet for cover. If you have mobility issues then check what floor you are on. We were 2nd floor and then had stairs to go up to the bedroom and bathroom.

"Be prepared to climb many stairs, but it is a nice room in a great neighborhood."
The room was bright and clean and the furniture was comfortable enough. There was a table large enough to sit at and play cards with friends. The bathroom was very nice. The local restaurants and very close grocery store were a big plus.
What could be improved: The room was good. But I was not expecting there to only be a washing machine with no dryer. Also, It was not mentioned that there was no elevator access to the room, and the room was on the 3rd floor of the building. This would have been very helpful in making the selection.

"Good"
Duplex apartment, very spacious and easy to access. Clean condition with nice bathroom and shower. Kitchen well equipped.
What could be improved: Apartment is a bit tired and requires some general maintenance e.g. shaky, squeaky spiral staircase, stained stair carpets, window wedged with paper to keep tightly shut, hole in the wall next to bathroom sink, smoke alarm wrapped in plastic bag, broken kitchen bar stool wedged under open staircase.
Random (and too much) mix of odd furniture in living area. All can be easily rectified but makes it look cluttered and dated compared to bedroom and bathroom which have a clean, fresh appearance.

"Weekend in London"
Very central location but quiet
The accommodation is equipped with everything needed for a short stay
What could be improved: Sofa bed bedding wasn't super new or nice

"Exceptional"
The appartement is well equipped, clean, cosy and in an excellent location. You're close to underground and bus stations but the neighbourhood is nice and quiey.
Ideal for two to three people.
What could be improved: The upstairs bedroom is really comfortable, so no complaints. However, the mattress of the sleeper sofa downstairs is rather lumpy. I feel it might have seen better days.
