Overview
First Impressions
Clover Court by Aeria Apartments sits right in the heart of Canary Wharf, and honestly, the location hits you before you even step inside. You’re looking at gleaming towers all around, but this four-star property has this refreshing residential feel that cuts through all the corporate atmosphere. The building itself is modern without being flashy — sort of like they knew guests wanted sophistication without the intimidation factor that comes with some of the area’s business hotels.
The Apartment Experience
What really sets this place apart is that you’re getting a proper apartment rather than just a hotel room. I mean, there’s something genuinely liberating about having your own space with a full kitchen when you’re staying in London for more than a couple of nights. The kitchenette setup is actually practical — not one of those token efforts where you can barely boil water. You’ve got proper counter space, a decent-sized fridge, and all the basics you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the Waitrose downstairs instead of eating out every meal.
Location Perks
Being on Millharbour means you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from South Quay DLR station, which honestly makes getting around London so much easier than you’d expect. What I really appreciate is that you can walk along the Thames Path right from the building — it’s one of those local secrets that makes early morning or evening strolls feel special. The whole area transforms after business hours too, becoming surprisingly peaceful once the office crowds head home.
Practical Amenities
The building includes parking, which anyone who’s driven in London will tell you is worth its weight in gold. There’s also a decent gym on-site, though it’s nothing fancy — just solid equipment that does the job. The staff actually seem to know what they’re doing, and I’ve noticed they’re particularly good with directions and local recommendations, probably because they deal with a mix of business travelers and tourists who all need different things.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really works here? It’s the balance between independence and service. You get the privacy and space of having your own place, but with housekeeping, concierge help, and that hotel-level reliability when you need it. The apartments feel like actual homes rather than corporate accommodation, and after spending days navigating London’s crowds and chaos, coming back to your own quiet space with Thames views makes all the difference. It’s particularly perfect for longer stays or if you’re traveling with family — having that extra room to spread out changes everything.

"An absolute amazing stay, with dedicated staff!"
We initially stayed at Clover Court, and the apartment with the view was absolutely beautiful. We then asked at reception if it might be possible to stay in another apartment where we had stayed last year.
A very kind man at the reception, I believe his name was Fernando ,went above and beyond to help us. He took his time, carefully checked the options, and did everything he could to make it work.
Thanks to him, we were able to stay in the most beautiful apartment at Cudweet Court. This experience was entirely thanks to Fernando’s kindness and effort, and we truly appreciate it!!
What could be improved: Nothing that we didn’t like at all!

"Stunning city and water views from the balcony and very close to two DLR stations!"
Good spacious size, stunning city and water views from the balcony, very clean and it’s very close to two DLR stations, just a quick walk! Tip - you can open the balcony door and step outside (just ask reception how to!)
What could be improved: The interaction with the Customer Service (post booking and before staying) was not very helpful. They need to be a bit more warmer with their interactions and also, their email signatures are very fishy (Buckingham Palace?!) which makes you worry whether they are genuine or not.

"Absolutely amazing"
Great location, big, clean and well managed property. I booked a one bed room apartment but I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom super spacious apartment. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests.
What could be improved: Nothing that was a miss except maybe kitchen towels and more than 2 coffee pods for a longer stay. But that’s nitpicking. Rest was literally perfect.

"Clean, comfortable, spacious for one person, great service."
I loved this place. It was a one-bedroom apt, clean, modern full kitchen, modern bathroom with rain shower, no clutter. It had a washer dryer, which was great. The towels were large and fluffy, which is something one rarely gets in an Airbnb. It's an important thing for me. The service was good as well, as I had a broken toilet seat upon arrival, which was replaced within 3 days. I always got prompt responses when I had a question or an issue. Cleaning service was included once after my first week.
What could be improved: The mattress was fairly thin and cheap, which is common in Airbnbs, and the pillows filled with artificial fiber (I prefer feathers/down), but I get that the plastic fiber is more hygienic and easier to wash. The bed wasn't uncomfortable. It was ok, and I would definitely return.
The only thing I would improve is that the living room doesn't have proper curtains, so the guest is on full display when working, eating, watching TV. There is a building directly opposite where a number of apartments have full view into this one, so you can't walk around in your underwear.
Note that the safe is tiny and won't fit a laptop. I had 2 people over to try and figure out how it works (opening/closing). It is very complicated and no visitor will be able to figure it out on their own without a manual. But not a biggie.

Easy to collect keys, located right next to the property. Lots of space and well situated in a short, pleasant walk to local tube and DLR stations. There's a Tesco express across the road for anything you need. We stayed here for a gig at the O2 and it was perfect. It's a bit longer into central, but we did it easily enough on the Jubilee line from Canary Wharf.
