Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to CHARMING ENGLISH STYLE STUDIO FLAT on Hadyn Park Road, you immediately get that authentic West London residential vibe — this isn’t some sterile hotel block, but actually a proper Victorian conversion in one of Hammersmith’s quieter streets. The building has that classic red brick facade you see all over this part of town, and honestly, it feels more like you’re staying at a friend’s place than checking into accommodation.
The Space Itself
This four-star studio really lives up to its name with traditional English touches throughout — think period features mixed with modern necessities that actually work. The room manages to feel both cozy and functional, which isn’t easy in a studio setup, and there’s a proper little kitchenette tucked into one corner that’s genuinely useful for making morning coffee or heating up leftovers from the excellent Indian place around the corner. I mean, the space isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtfully laid out in a way that doesn’t feel cramped.
Location & Getting Around
Hammersmith and Fulham is one of those areas that locals love but tourists often overlook — you’re close enough to central London without paying Zone 1 prices or dealing with the constant chaos. Shepherd’s Bush tube station is about a ten-minute walk, putting you on the Central line straight into Oxford Circus or out to Stratford if you need it. What I really appreciated was having actual neighborhood life around you — there’s a Tesco Express nearby, some decent pubs, and you know what, it just feels like real London rather than tourist London.
The Details That Matter
The WiFi actually works properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and there’s decent storage space for your stuff, which matters when you’re living out of a suitcase. The heating responds quickly — crucial for those unpredictable London weather moments when it’s sunny one minute and freezing the next. Street parking can be a bit tricky if you’ve got a car, but honestly, you probably won’t need one from this location anyway.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this place has a 9.5 rating for good reason — it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense or overselling. You’re getting a genuine slice of London residential life in a space that’s been set up properly for short stays, and the host clearly knows what travelers actually need versus what sounds good in a listing. It’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and start planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.
Best hotels in London blend skyline terraces, modern British style, and classic English breakfast spreads.

Alessia was a super host, she helped us for everything. We were supposed to go to the Coldplay concert on 7th of Sep but because of the strike concert rescheduled to 6th of Sep. Our flight was on 6th of Sept in the morning and she let us check in early. She helped us about the transportation to the center without waitin gfor us to ask and inform us about the clean time in case of need of the late check out. Neighbourhood was super quite and safe. This is a family residential area and you can find nice bakeries, markets, pubs. If only there was not a strike, transportation would be easier. Eventhough we could come back to the apartment at night. We really loved the neighborhood and we are appreciated to Alessia. Highly recommended.

We traveled to London on vacation in December and spent 5 nights in this charming flat. The description and pictures provided are exactly what the place looked like. It is small as mentioned in description, but we found it was just the right size for 2 people. Lots of storage for your clothes and personal items in the cabinets by the bed! The place was clean and well-organized with thoughtful little things like an umbrella in the foyer and a package of delicious unopened sugar cookies and a big bottle of water that may have been left by the owner or previous guests - we're not sure which but such a nice touch! The kitchen includes an electric stove for 2 pots, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and numerous plates/utensils/pots, which all made cooking a simple breakfast and even dinner possible and easy. We found the check-in process easy to follow and the host was only a phone message away. Once inside, make sure that the switch for the shower heater is turned on, otherwise you won't have hot water in the shower (there are written instructions in the flat about this as well). The heat was not turned on when we arrived, but there's a switch on the radiator which will allow you to set your desired temperature. We found the location perfect as there are 3 tube stations only 15-20 minutes walking distance away from the flat, but there's also a bus stop 3 minutes walking distance from the flat that goes to Hammersmith tube station. There is a variety of little convenience stores in the neighborhood where we easily found bottled water, fruit/veggies, and snacks. Check out Uxbridge Rd for all kinds of restaurants / cafes / bakeries / fruit stalls. We especially enjoyed desserts from a small bakery called La Brioche - the owner was amazingly kind, and the prices seemed affordable for the quality of the pastries. If/when we come back to London again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here! What a lovely place!

Location was close to my daughter’s flat, bus stops, grocery stores, and restaurants. It was so convenient to have a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. The host responded immediately to any questions we had. We will definitely rebook here for our next visit.

"This is my favorite spot to stay in London from now on. The host is nice and so is the property."
The property is in a good neighborhood, very close to a commercial center; and reaching there by public transport is embarrassingly easy.
The place although small, has everything you would want it to have for a short stay: a nice range of utensils (ketle, oven, bowls, cups...), cleaning equipment (mops, vaccuum, chemicals, sponges...), etc.
You can cook not very elaborated dishes in there just fine.
The bed is very comfortable and since it is retractable, you gain a lot of space during the day.
What could be improved: The Wi-Fi wasn't the greatest; it was consistently slow. For most light usages it will go just as fine, but syncing my phone pictures was remarkably slow and I had some trouble with work while having other devices connected (Microsoft Teams, Jira, etc taking a bit to load and sometimes laggy on calls).
The walls are thin, so you will often hear (inaudibly) the neighbors, and I suspect they also do.
It is also worth mentioning is that the smoke alarm got me scared: since there is no exhaust hood above the stove and the only way to let the smoke go is by opening the window, I was afraid the alarm would activate.
