Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Charles Hope London Greenford, you’ll notice it’s tucked away in this quiet corner of Greenford that feels worlds away from central London chaos. The three-star property sits in what used to be industrial space — you can still see hints of the old glassworks heritage in the building’s character. Honestly, it’s got this modern-meets-industrial vibe that works better than you’d expect.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about Greenford — it’s not exactly tourist central, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re about a 15-minute walk to Greenford station, which gets you into central London in roughly 45 minutes on the Central line. The area’s got this residential feel with plenty of local pubs and a decent Tesco nearby for essentials. I mean, you won’t find Big Ben around the corner, but you’ll save a fortune compared to staying in Zone 1.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — they’ve made good use of the space without it feeling cramped. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I actually slept better than I expected given the hotel’s modest rating. What impressed me was the attention to details like decent lighting for reading and enough power outlets that you don’t have to unplug the bedside lamp to charge your phone.
Amenities & Practical Stuff
There’s on-site parking which, let’s be honest, is gold dust in London — even out here in Greenford. The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work, and they’re quick to sort out any issues. The Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the building, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. They’ve got a small restaurant area, though I’d recommend exploring the local spots for dinner.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, Charles Hope London Greenford isn’t trying to be something it’s not — it’s a solid, no-nonsense base for exploring London without the premium price tag. The value proposition really works if you don’t mind being a bit further out. You get clean, comfortable accommodation with helpful staff and the genuine feeling that they want you to have a good stay. It’s the kind of place that proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to get decent hospitality in London.

"Very convenient, good facilities, clean and functional"
Very easy to check in, gain access and access the property. Staff were friendly and communication was good
Apartment was comfortable, clean and good facilities
What could be improved: I stayed for 3 nights / 4 days - only a small amount of toilet paper was in the apartment, which meant I had to go to shops the evening I arrived, which was inconveient - this was the 2nd time it had happened

"second time we have stayed apt are excellent, however same issue twice trying to gain access"
The Apartments are very comfortable and finished to a high standard
What could be improved: The link between the booking.com platform and your check in procedure was not smooth, if you were booking for another guest to collect the keys

"Great location, would stay again."
Modern facilities, every thing you need for a self catering stay.
Starbucks and Co op on site for necessities.
Parking £15 per night undercover over the road.
What could be improved: Poor pillows ! Everything else was quality so this was a real let down.

"Very good"
The location is great, walking distance from 2 stations and many places to grab a bite or a drink. Apartment had very comfy beds, kitchen was very well equiped and overall the place was very nice and well decorated.
What could be improved: It seems the prepping of the place before our arrival was rushed - no toilet paper provided and toilet bin full of someone else's rubbish which wasn't nice to see.

"Nice property but could do with a better facility manager"
Ultra modern, clean and well kitted flat on a high floor. Rooms were spacious. My teenagers enjoyed using the gym and game room on the top floor
What could be improved: The parking which we had to pay £15 for daily was in another building across the road despite the building we stayed in having an underground parking bay which was NEVER full. It’s very cold at the moment and walking across the road with bags of shopping was not pleasant.
The living room was much smaller than expected. Every time we tried to use the kettle or toaster, it threw off a phase of power in the flat so they were unusable
Despite the fact that I was speaking to a representative of Charles Hope minutes before we arrived, the receptionist said our names were not on the guest list. This took a while to sort out at 1am
Only one key provided for a group of 4. We requested another one but were told Charles Hope does not allow it.
Most annoyingly you have to get permission to have guests visit!! Why? This is not a prison. I was told this is another rule by Charles Hope

"comfortable stay"
spacious apartment with all the amenities. access to the gym was a plus. the co-op around the corner was great. secure building and great surroundings. clean and tidy everywhere with plenty of places to walk around the area. relatively close to Greenford station
What could be improved: having to use a key card to access the building entrance and the lift was great but also annoying that we only had one key to use between two of us. it was requested but never fulfilled. we just had to manage who goes out when so as not to get stuck or bother someone to open the door.

"It was ok."
The apartment is modern, clean and very functional
What could be improved: The check in took more than a hour since it is not possible to check in with the concierge. There was no air conditioning, and it was warm days. I had to leave the window opened and it was hard to sleep with so many lights from outside

"Modern, clean, comfortable and well thought out facilities. Dog friendly."
The overall development was excellent. It is a relatively new canalside development. Very dog friendly, provided fenced dog toileting areas, with plenty of dog bins with free dog bags. Great for canalside walks and nearby Horsenden Hill Fields.
All apartments are stated as dog friendly.
Great views (we were 7th floor of 14 floors).
Great roof garden, leisure areas, games room, work spaces.
Excellent quality and well thought out.
The whole development kept clean and beautifully landscaped for an urban
area.
It was very conveniently placed for where we wanted to visit.
Underground parking.
There was a Starbucks and Co-operative food store on site. A mobile pizza van was there one night of our stay.
What could be improved: The air conditioning in the apartment could have been more effective maybe (we were there on the three hotest days at 29/30C).
It was quite noisy outside the building, being on the side where the main public area was, and there was a great water feature that the kids were able to enjoy during the hot weather. Once the windows were closed it was quiet.
The central area is used for some great community events, just be prepared if on that side of the building.
We weren't advised of having to pay extra for the dog and parking until the morning of our booking, so a bit of stress trying to pay via Charles Hope online link, which wouldn't work (had to pay on the phone when we were on our way.
(though I had emailed asking about dogs and parking via Booking.com when we booked.)

"Overall, it’s a great property in a good seemingly quiet place, there’s a bus stop just round the corner which is conven"
- Location (right by a co-op). Outside was well maintained and pretty.
- Inside the building was semi open and visually appealing.
- The property itself was exactly like the pictures and priced well.
- Big windows allowed for a lot of light to come in.
The sofa was comfy the bed was a little small but had no issues when sleeping.
- Decent sized TV
- Had a lot of plug sockets
What could be improved: - Didn’t have a bath :( (always good to have the option)
- Didn’t have a tea towel / paper towels
- Microwave oven (but instructions on how to use were helpful).
- View weren’t the best but felt private.
