Overview

First Impressions

The Bright Studio Apt, Great connection 2B sits on a busy stretch of Harrow Road, and honestly, the name tells you exactly what you’re getting. This four-star apartment doesn’t try to be fancy — it’s all about practicality and that promised great connection to the rest of London. The building itself is typical West London residential, nothing flashy, but you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this spot in Hammersmith and Fulham — it’s perfectly positioned if you actually want to explore London without paying Zone 1 prices. You’ve got Kensal Green tube station within walking distance, and the buses along Harrow Road will get you pretty much anywhere. I mean, you’re not in the heart of Covent Garden, but you can reach it easily enough, and you’ll appreciate coming back to this quieter neighborhood after a day of tourist crowds.

The Space

The studio lives up to its “bright” billing with decent-sized windows that let in plenty of natural light — something you definitely notice in London’s darker months. The kitchenette is compact but functional, with everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops and save some money on meals. The layout makes smart use of the space, though it’s clearly designed for one or two people max.

Neighborhood Feel

This part of Harrow Road has that authentic London residential vibe — you’ll see locals doing their shopping, kids heading to school, the whole nine yards. There’s a good mix of convenience stores, takeaways, and that essential London cornerstone, a proper pub within a few minutes’ walk. It’s not touristy at all, which means you get a real sense of what living in London actually feels like, rather than just visiting it.

Why Guests Appreciate It

Look, this isn’t going to win any design awards, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The connection to central London really is great — you can be in Oxford Circus in about 30 minutes on a good day. The 7.3 rating makes sense because it’s honest accommodation that works well for travelers who prioritize location and value over bells and whistles. If you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring rather than lounging in your room, this place hits the sweet spot between affordability and accessibility.

"London Apartment"
In a good location for transport links around London. Clean and a very comfortable bed. It had everything you needed for a short stay in London.
What could be improved: There was some noise from the hallway outside the apartment overnight but only for short amounts of time.

"Poor maintenance and boundaries"
The layout of the space is as described in the photos, no surprises. I was travelling for study and there was an easy bus connection to my course venue. I left my laptop charger there and when I called for it few mins after check out, the owner brought it down for me.
What could be improved: I was visiting for an intensive study course and needed a private place to sleep, study and eat. My partner (Gregory) booked this on his account, with me as the registered guest. The fuse went as soon as I got in and the kettle didn't work. The bedside lamp runs on batteries and it was dead, so was the clock. I was only going to stop for a few minutes at first, but got delayed as they were asking me to stand on a chair to check the fuse, show them things on video, send pics etc. The owner told me how to get the power back and he later left a new kettle and batteries outside my door. Okay, I guess. Once I returned more and more things kept cropping up. The microwave plate was not the right fit, it was wobbly, same for the eating table, the glass top is wobbly. Watch out if you plan to eat soup. All of this was annoying but I was willing to overlook. I found there was no heating or hot water in the morning. I used hot water from the kettle to wash before class. When I asked if they could fix this - this was the worst part - they sent a guy at like 8/9pm knocking on my door without any warning. No way was I going to let him in! The next morning I asked them specifically to please not send anyone for repairs late in the evening, and as I was out all day there was plenty of time if something needed to be looked at. I couldn't believe that the exact same thing happened again the next day - I was trying to unwind after a long and challenging day and again without any warning the owner comes knocking on my door asking to be let in!! I asked him to go away and he wouldn't go, insisted on checking the taps, so in he came. By this time I had literally no more interest in the morning hot water, I just wanted him out and to be left alone. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe as a woman travelling alone and I felt they do not respect boundaries. Please check your maintenance issues before people arrive and do not intrude on the guest's space.

"Superb"
Dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie, malutka łazienka, ale bardzo ładnie zaplanowane.
What could be improved: Przydałby się bardziej nowoczesne zamki w drzwiach, bezpieczniejsze. Ale problemów nie było.
