Overview

First Impressions

Brand New Flat in Central London sits right on New Oxford Street, and honestly, the location hit me before anything else. You’re literally steps from the British Museum — I mean, you can practically see tourists with their maps from the windows. The building itself has that classic London feel, but when you step inside, it’s clear someone’s put serious thought into modernizing the space without losing character.

Location & Neighborhood

Camden might be the official borough, but you’re really in Bloomsbury territory here, which is perfect if you ask me. The whole literary history thing is everywhere — you know, Virginia Woolf and that crowd used to wander these exact streets. What I actually love is how walkable everything is. Tottenham Court Road station is a five-minute stroll, and you’ve got the Central and Northern lines right there. Plus, Oxford Street shopping is close enough when you need it, but far enough that you’re not drowning in crowds every time you step outside.

The Space

This apartment setup works really well for London — you get proper space to spread out, which honestly feels like a minor miracle in this city. The kitchen is actually functional (not just for show), and I found myself using it more than I expected. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained, living up to that “brand new” promise. The room layouts make sense too — whoever designed this clearly understands how people actually live and move through a space.

What Makes It Special

You know what struck me? It’s that sweet spot between hotel service and home comfort. The four-star rating feels right — it’s polished and professional without being stuffy. The staff clearly care about getting details right, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere in London that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard to impress. The building stays quiet despite being on such a busy street, which I wasn’t expecting but definitely appreciated after long days exploring the city.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.2 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s the kind of place that solves the usual London accommodation headaches — you get space, you get location, and you don’t feel like you’re compromising on either. Families seem to particularly love the apartment-style setup, and I can see why business travelers would appreciate being so close to everything without the chaos. The value proposition is solid too, especially when you factor in having that kitchen and the money you’ll save on transport with this location.

London’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike routes to hidden mews streets.

"Nice flat in great location"
Clean, comfortable and looks like it has been recently renovated. Great location in Holborn near the tube, British Museum and Covent Garden. Price is reasonable for central London.
What could be improved: Property was great. It’s on the third floor with steep and narrow stairs. That wasn’t a problem for us but some people might struggle.

"Great location, nicely renovated and clean apartment."
This is a great location if you're looking to explore central London. Easy access to the underground and buses. The apartment has been recently renovated so it's modern and clean. There were nice touches, including hotel-sized shower gel, shampoo, and a few essential coffee pods, milk and tea. There were 4 of us, so two of us slept in the main bedroom and two on the sleeper couch. No complaints on either. For us 4 to explore the London Christmas lights and markets for a weekend, it was perfect.
What could be improved: Being that it's so central and on a busy road (the extension of Oxford Street), you can hear the louder 'street noises' in the early hours. There was also the mystery of finding the kitchen light switch which we discovered was behind the fridge. :) The staircase to our apartment 3rd floor apartment was quite narrow. Luckily we didn't have big bags but it would be struggle to get heavy suitcases up them.

"Comfortable place, brilliant location"
What I liked about the location was that it was absolutely excellent. There were pubs just downstairs, and the nearest shop was only about three to five minutes away. The British Museum was right around the corner, so the location was honestly brilliant. As for the flat, it was really spacious. There were four of us staying there, and it was just the right size. We had a small table where we could all sit and relax in the afternoon after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Overall, I’d recommend it.
What could be improved: Honestly, everything was fine. Before my stay, I read the reviews and noticed that most ratings were really high across all categories, except for the Wi-Fi. So I was a bit skeptical about that. To be fair, I didn’t really see any issue. Maybe if you’re planning to stay in the apartment all day downloading movies or doing heavy streaming, the Wi-Fi might not be perfect. But for us, it worked just fine. We could watch Netflix, check emails and messages without any problems. Overall, there were really no downsides to the property.

"Great stay in central location, would recommend"
Centrally located for the theatres. Good access instructions. Great facilities. Great shower. Nicely decorated. Very clean.
What could be improved: Quite noisy from the street below, but I guess you are in a very busy area. Lots of very steep steps, but were aware of these from previous reviews. Door handle loose in the bathroom, so didn’t want to close the door fully in case it came off.

"Excellent. Already recommended to some of my friends"
Well furnished & comfortable. Easy check in All necessities available. Well located.
What could be improved: Apartment was on 3rd floor with stairs a little narrow & steep. Whilst not a problem for us might have been awkward for some. That said we had an excellent short stay.

"Lovely cosy apartment in great location for theatre goers!"
Lovely apartment in prime location for theatre goers. Had plenty of towels and essentials for our short stay. Particularly liked that an iron was available to use. Not many places provide an iron.
What could be improved: The apartment was fine, just the bathroom door handle needs fixing. Only other minor issue I would say is that we were unable to use the Netflix even though we were given the username and password, it required an email to login. Our own emails weren’t accessible.
