BnBNova – Marylebone – 3BR – Wimpole St
First Impressions
BnBNova – Marylebone – 3BR – Wimpole St sits on one of those quintessentially Georgian streets that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a period drama. The building itself has that lovely honey-colored brick facade you see throughout this part of London, and honestly, walking up to it for the first time gave me that “I’m actually staying here?” moment. It’s a three-star setup, which means you’re getting solid comfort without the fuss — sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
The Space Itself
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to fit three proper bedrooms into what was clearly once a traditional London townhouse. Each room feels thoughtfully laid out rather than cramped, which isn’t always easy to pull off in central London properties. The kitchen is actually functional too — I mean, you can cook a proper meal here, not just heat up takeaway. The living area has this nice mix of modern furniture against original period features, and you know what? It works.
Marylebone Magic
Here’s the thing about staying on Wimpole Street — you’re basically in the sweet spot of central London without the tourist chaos. Walk five minutes north and you’re on Marylebone High Street with its independent shops and cafes that locals actually use. Head south for ten minutes and you’re at Oxford Circus, but honestly, I found myself avoiding that madness and sticking to the quieter streets around here. There’s a Waitrose practically around the corner, which came in handy more than once.
Neighborhood Gems
The Wallace Collection is literally a three-minute walk away, and it became my go-to escape when I needed a break from the city buzz. Plus, Regent’s Park is close enough for morning runs — well, ambitious morning walks in my case. What I really loved was discovering the little restaurant tucked away on Bentinck Street that serves incredible Lebanese food. You stumble across places like that when you’re staying somewhere residential rather than in the hotel district.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or a concierge who knows your name. What it does do is give you a proper base in one of London’s most liveable neighborhoods, with enough space that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. The fact that it sleeps six comfortably means it’s brilliant for families or groups who want to split costs without compromising on location. Street parking is typical London nightmare stuff, but the tube connections from Bond Street or Baker Street mean you really don’t need a car anyway.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
