First Impressions
BnBNova – London Fitzrovia sits tucked away on a quiet street that honestly feels more residential than touristy — which is exactly what I loved about it. This four-star spot doesn’t announce itself with flashy signage or doormen, but once you step inside, you realize that’s entirely the point. The lobby has this modern, minimalist vibe that feels refreshingly uncluttered after walking through London’s bustling streets.
Location & Neighborhood
Fitzrovia is one of those neighborhoods that locals actually hang out in, and you’re right in the thick of it here. You can walk to the British Museum in about ten minutes, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by proper coffee shops and independent bookstores that most tourists never find. The Tube connections are solid — Goodge Street station is practically around the corner, and Warren Street isn’t much further.
The Room Experience
My room was compact but smartly designed, with everything you actually need and nothing you don’t. The bed was genuinely comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”), and the shower had proper water pressure — you know how hit-or-miss that can be in London buildings. What impressed me most was the attention to details like decent lighting for reading and enough outlets placed where you’d actually use them.
Practical Comforts
Each unit comes with a small kitchenette that’s actually functional, not just decorative. I mean, you’re not going to cook a Sunday roast, but making morning coffee or storing leftovers from that amazing Indian place down the street? Totally doable. The Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay, and the air conditioning (crucial during London’s increasingly warm summers) didn’t sound like a jet engine.
Why Guests Love It
This place gets it right by not trying too hard. The staff knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations — not just the obvious tourist spots. You’re staying in a part of London that feels authentic, with easy access to everything you want to see, but you’re not paying West End prices or dealing with West End crowds outside your door every morning.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
