BnBNova – 1BR – Holborn & Central London
First Impressions
BnBNova – 1BR – Holborn & Central London sits on a quiet stretch of Cursitor Street, and honestly, you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking. That’s actually part of its charm — it feels like you’re staying in a proper London flat rather than some tourist bubble. The entrance is understated, tucked between the kind of Georgian buildings that make this part of London so distinctive.
The Space
This four-star apartment feels surprisingly spacious once you’re inside, which is saying something for central London. The room layout works well — there’s a proper separation between the living area and bedroom that you don’t always get with these short-stay places. I mean, the kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you actually need if you want to grab groceries from Sainsbury’s down the road instead of eating out every meal.
Location & Neighborhood
Holborn is one of those areas that locals know but tourists often miss, and that works in your favor here. You’re literally a five-minute walk to Chancery Lane station, which puts you on the Central line straight into Oxford Circus or Liverpool Street. What I really like though is how you can wander down to Fleet Street and feel like you’re discovering old London — all those narrow alleys and historic pubs that have been there for centuries.
Daily Life
The building itself is quiet, which surprised me given how central you are. There’s no fancy concierge or anything like that, but the check-in process was straightforward enough. You know what’s actually convenient? There’s a Tesco Express about two streets over, and if you need something more substantial, Covent Garden is just a pleasant ten-minute walk through some really lovely side streets.
Why Guests Appreciate It
This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re getting a solid base in one of London’s most connected neighborhoods without paying West End prices. The apartment feels lived-in rather than sterile, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that isn’t crawling with other tourists. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to the British Museum or catch a show in the West End, but far enough from the chaos that you can actually get a decent night’s sleep.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
