Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to 2 Bed Piccadilly Apartment 4 on Jermyn Street, you immediately know you’re in one of London’s most distinguished neighborhoods. The Georgian facade blends seamlessly with the surrounding historic buildings, and honestly, the address alone tells you everything about the caliber of this place. This four-star apartment sits right in the heart of St. James’s, where you’re rubbing shoulders with centuries of British tradition.

The Space Itself

Inside, the apartment strikes that perfect balance between classic London charm and modern functionality. The two bedrooms are genuinely spacious — not the shoebox-sized rooms you often get in central London properties. What I really appreciated was the separate living area, which actually gives you room to spread out after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped, and you know what, having the option to make your own coffee in the morning instead of hunting for an overpriced café makes all the difference.

Location Advantages

You’re literally a three-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus, but here’s the thing — Jermyn Street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central. The street is famous for its traditional shirtmakers and gentlemen’s outfitters, so during the day there’s this refined buzz without the tourist chaos. Green Park is right around the corner when you need a breather, and the Burlington Arcade is perfect for some upscale window shopping (or actual shopping if your budget allows).

Practical Considerations

The 7.2 rating reflects some of the realities of staying in a central London apartment — it’s not going to have the polished service of a traditional hotel, but that’s sort of the point. You get independence and space instead. The building itself shows its age in places, but I mean, you’re staying in historic Westminster Borough, so a bit of character comes with the territory. The nearest Tube stations are Piccadilly Circus and Green Park, both easily walkable even with luggage.

Why Guests Choose This Place

What makes this apartment work is the combination of prime location and actual living space. Business travelers appreciate having a proper base for longer stays, while families or groups of friends get the luxury of not being cramped into tiny hotel rooms. The neighborhood gives you that authentic London experience — you’ll pass the same shopkeepers each morning and start to feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist. Plus, when you tell people you’re staying on Jermyn Street, they know you’ve found somewhere special.

"Yeah maybe"
Location
What could be improved: It could do with a better cleaning. Although the apartment was clean, there we a few things they could improve like the stains on the couch and stains on the cushions. We didn’t even used the coach because we were grossed out. Also, the night club noise is very loud and some of us couldn’t sleep.

"Very good"
Very easy to get into the building and very well placed.
What could be improved: Nothing they can do about it, it's an old building, but there's a lot of very narrow stairs. Fire blanket in the kitchen needs replacing which is a serious safety issue. Internet weirdly slow.

"Delightful location - Dreadful beds and maintenance required"
Excellent central location. The apartment offers decent value in a brilliant location. You could not be better placed in central London! Big tick. Responsive manager to fix issues (and there were issues!)
What could be improved: I feel bad for the manager/owner because they were generally helpful, providing great responsiveness to early maintenance issues raised with the apartment - hot water failure, electrical issue, drying rack missing. But TBH it did feel like basic maintenance checks and cleaning were simply not undertaken prior to our rather long 12 night stay. That was disappointing & frustrating. We have stayed in countless accomodations and VERY rarely criticise. But in this case the general cleanliness was pretty poor. The dust under the kitchen table for example was thick on our arrival. In the bathroom there was grime on the floor, and several skirtings/edgings had popped off - they require new caulking. Plus no cooking tray in the oven… the error on the lounge heater that can’t be adjusted… constant internet dropout. Not great. But even if you ignore all that… here’s the biggest issue; The overall quality of our stay in London was undermined by the incredibly bad mattresses provided. We all struggled. Seriously… I’m only 72kg and my son is about 62kg. We could barely sleep for a few hours straight in our entire stay due to springs literally gauging our stomachs, sides, backs and ribs.. in both beds. They are like torture racks from the Tower! The beds are well and truly worn out and should be replaced to meet even basic lodging standards for adults. I did not bother complaining during our stay as I doubted we’d receive new mattresses anytime soon. Perhaps I should have. This could easily be so much better with a couple of new Ikea mattresses. Plus a deep clean. Also I sent this feedback to the manager in a PM after our departure approx one month ago and it has been ignored.

"Really enjoyed our weekend in London, this apartment is in a fabulous location"
Location was very good, easy ( walkable) reach to tube station, Covent Garden.
What could be improved: The double beds were a bit too soft for us. Also, if they were replaced with twin beds, I'd be happy to book this apartment with a group of friends.

"Very comfortable stay"
Very comfortable apartment. Equipped with everything you could need. Beds very comfortable. Apartment spotlessly clean. Owner has good communication and is very quick to respond. Apartment in a great area with short walk to theatres, convent garden. Tesco express just down the road for anything you need.

"Fantastic location for our family of four"
Amazing location, very close to Picadilly and Green Park stations, plus plenty of pubs and shops close by.
What could be improved: The apartment was few stories up and the stairs were quite steep. Getting a lot of heavy bags for my wife and kids up there wasn't much fun as there's no lift, but a lot of properties are the same so it's nothing they can control.

"A lovely well presented apartment for me and my family!"
Location was superb! Very spacious apartment with everything we needed for our short stay in London. Lots of detail though of and we didn’t go without.
What could be improved: The only negative was the sofa bed. Very uncomfortable even as a sofa to sit on. I’d recomment a new one as it really would look better and fetch a better sleep.

"Great location but the noise made it difficult to sleep. I know this isn’t the owners fault but people should be made aw"
Location was great. Clean, had everything we needed.
What could be improved: Nightclub below which is open 10pm to 4:30am Thursday to Sunday night is extremely noisy. Loud shouting and cars revving and beeping all night.
