Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first walked up to 2 Bed Piccadilly Apartment 1 on Jermyn Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place in this part of London. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. The building itself has that classic Westminster charm — nothing flashy, but solid and reassuring in a way that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something locals actually use.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup is what really sold me on this place. I mean, having two proper bedrooms in central London without breaking the bank? That’s almost unheard of these days. The space feels lived-in rather than hotel-sterile, which I actually prefer — there’s something honest about it. The kitchen isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s got everything you need if you want to grab some groceries from Fortnum’s down the street and skip the restaurant bills for a night.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about being on Jermyn Street — you’re basically in the heart of everything without the tourist chaos of Oxford Street. I could walk to Piccadilly Circus in about three minutes, but more importantly, I discovered some incredible little shops and pubs that most visitors never find. The Duke of York pub around the corner became my regular spot, and honestly, chatting with locals there taught me more about London than any guidebook ever could.
The Real Experience
Look, this isn’t a place where someone’s going to bring you breakfast in bed or turn down your sheets. But each room has character, and there’s something refreshing about having your own space to spread out after a day of exploring. The Wi-Fi actually works (crucial for me), and the water pressure is surprisingly decent — small things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. Plus, there’s parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in London, though I’d honestly recommend against it.
Why Guests Love It
What I keep coming back to is how this place lets you live like a Londoner for a few days rather than just visiting. You’ve got Regent Street’s shopping five minutes one way, St. James’s Park ten minutes the other, and all those hidden Mayfair streets to explore in between. Sure, the 7.1 rating tells you it’s not perfect — the furnishings are a bit dated, and you might hear some street noise — but for the price point in this neighborhood, it’s actually pretty solid. I’d definitely stay again, especially if I was traveling with friends who wanted separate bedrooms without paying West End hotel prices.
Apartments in London suit families with bright bay windows, full kitchens, and sunset loops through Hyde Park paths.

"Very good"
Excellent location, bedrooms are decorated nicely and there's a good amount of space in the rooms.
What could be improved: As some have mentioned the hallway when entering smells of stinky cheese (from being beside a cheese shop) but it's being masked with artificial scent spray - perhaps natural deodorizers would be better. This didn't make or break our stay, I just found myself running out of the unit with my nose plugged. Others mentioned the beds being uncomfortable, we didn't find them that bad but you could feel the springs, more annoying was the duvet in the one bedroom was very small for two people. The wifi was slow and spotty which we found out is because the modem is in another unit with only boosters in this unit. It was a bit noisy outside but we were able to sleep no problem, make sure both windows are closed and this helps!

"Location was fantastic, and check in process. Flat was loud at night due to next door nightclub."
The location was fantastic and the check-in process was easy. Additionally, we were allowed to drop our bags ahead of time which we greatly appreciated.
What could be improved: The apartment had a damp/stale odor. It was quite loud at night due to the nightclub next door (music, people talking loudly) and I woke up unable to sleep all weekend until the club closed around 1 or 2am.

"Location is wonderful but be prepared for the noise."
The location was great. Very walkable, so many things around it, and close to a tube station.
What could be improved: No fault of the apartment itself, however the construction and trash noise were awful. It was impossible to sleep with that noise. On Saturday night the club nearby was very loud as well. There was also a smell from the cheese shop. It went away/you got used to it after a couple of minutes though.

"A good size apartment close to main attractions and easy to find, but very noisy so you will need earplugs to sleep well"
Location, near Piccadilly Circus station and other main attractions
What could be improved: Very noisy, first floor unit, rooms just above the shops, pubs and restaurant near you. Loud music is heard till wee hours everyday and church bell rings at 630am, every 30mins or 1 hour.

"Awesome location, horrible beds, lots of noise and unpleasant atmosphere"
clear instructions, easy access
great location, ideal for exploring central London, close to Piccadilly underground station in a good neighbourhood
What could be improved: The beds were absolutely horrible and there was a lot of noise, construction work started at 5.30 am, which had a big impact on our overall stay as we were poorly rested and sore from the beds. Also, the sofa bed was hardly adequate to sleep on and definitely not ok for two people as a potential 6th person would have had to sleep on a wooden bar in that sofa bed. Furthermore, the dishwasher didn't work and leaked water. Someone came over to try and fix it. Couldn't properly do the dishes another way as the hot water in the kitchen was also not working and there was no plug for the sink. We mentioned this and someone tried to fix it, but they had not succeeded. Wifi was very shaky, so you had to be careful not to accidentally use up all your mobile data. Fire blanket in the kitchen was missing from its cover, giving a false sense of safety should you ever need it. Apartment was also quite stale and although this is a bit subjective, for us it wasn't a comfortable place to spend time in.
Overall, I guess the location alone justifies a hefty price tag and you don't need to spend much time in the apartment, but if you appreciate just basic level sleeping comfort, this is surely not the place.

"Buena ubicación pero incómodo"
La ubicación inmejorable para visitar Londres
What could be improved: Los colchones muy incómodos y necesitan cambio ya!

"Good"
