Overview
First Impressions
You know what struck me first about 4bed 11 occupancy large flat elizabeth line west london flat free parking? It’s exactly what it says on the tin — no marketing fluff, just a straightforward apartment that does exactly what busy travelers need. This apartment sits on a quiet residential street in Hanwell, and honestly, the unpolished name tells you everything about the approach here: practical, no-nonsense accommodation that prioritizes space and value over Instagram-worthy aesthetics.
Location & Getting Around
The Elizabeth line connection is genuinely game-changing — Hanwell station is about a 10-minute walk, and you’re in central London within 25 minutes. I mean, try finding that kind of access at this price point closer in. The neighborhood itself is proper residential London, with tree-lined streets and that slightly suburban feel that’s actually quite refreshing after battling crowds in Zone 1. There’s a Tesco Express nearby for essentials, and the local pub scene is surprisingly decent.
The Space Itself
Four bedrooms that can genuinely sleep eleven people — and I’ve seen how cramped some “large” London flats can be, so this was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen is actually functional, not just a tiny corner with a kettle and mini-fridge like so many places. You’ll find proper counter space and everything you need if you’re planning to cook rather than eat out every meal. The setup works brilliantly for families or groups who need their own space but don’t want to book multiple hotel rooms.
What Really Works
The free parking alone saves you a fortune — anyone who’s tried to park in London knows this is worth its weight in gold. The place feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I actually prefer to those overly staged serviced apartments. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything functions properly, the beds are comfortable enough, and there’s reliable WiFi throughout. The lack of traditional hotel services means you’re really on your own, but that’s reflected in the price.
Why Guests Love It
This place succeeds because it solves real problems without pretense. Large groups get proper space, drivers get free parking, and everyone gets that Elizabeth line connection that makes London actually accessible. It’s the kind of accommodation that works better than it looks on paper — functional, affordable, and refreshingly honest about what it offers. Just don’t expect hotel-style service or design magazine aesthetics, and you’ll find it hits the sweet spot for practical London stays.

What could be improved: can't think of any.

"the place looks nice but everything else about it was abysmal. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it."
The place itself looked decent, it was well decorated and well lit. The rooms themselves were quite spacious and one of the rooms had a nice view.
What could be improved: At first when I arrived, I was stranded outside for almost two hours because whoever was managing the check-in procedure asked for details far too late. If I hadn’t bothered the neighbours for some help, it most likely would have taken longer.
When I finally gained access, I examined the place only to find that there were no knives to cook with, the lamps in the living room were broken, the pillows in some rooms had hair on them, the toilet in one of the bathrooms had a loose toilet seat, one of the bedrooms lacked blinds/curtains, the electric heater provided was faulty and kept sparking, the wifi I was provided with did not work at all and the smart TV was painfully slow and kept freezing to the point we couldn’t even use it.

"We weren't in the flat much so it was OK for us, but just a few minor adjustments and it could be gr"
The flat is a very good size, plenty of space for us all.
The location was very good, with plenty of take aways and little stores to get your supplies. 10 mins to the tube, and parking outside was no issue either.
What could be improved: There was no curtains in any room and the blinds were dropping to bits. My children were up at 5am due to no curtains and the room being bright so early on.
The neighbours downstairs were very noisy. Not sure if it was 2 or 3 couples but the language was terrible. We could hear everything, I hope they enjoyed match of the day! Not the owners fault but maybe some insulation would make it better.
The beds and sofa were really uncomfortable too, the double in the front room was in an awful condition.

"Nightmare"
There was nothing to like.
What could be improved: No key in the lockbox. Alternative property provided which was smaller and didn't accommodate all of our engineers. Additional bed provided from 2nd night, located in the kitchen! with no bedding! refused to cover the cost of extra accommodation booked for first night for the engineer who has no bed at alternative accommodation. Refused to issue any refund for the fact that accommodation was smaller than what we paid for and further away. Very poor communication with the host, Would not recommend to anyone.

"Give it a miss - not as photographed"
Street parking was good.
What could be improved: There were no curtains in bedrooms, broken blinds, one bed is broken, no WiFi and no response given when raised therefore no tv, no equipment to be able to wash up effectively, a sink broken, a smell of weed throughout the whole building and generally unclean everywhere, carpets in particular are atrocious. Based on what was listed I'd like a partial refund and would never stay at the property again.

"Would not recommend staying here"
Pros:
You have a roof over your head.
The location relative to the Elizabeth Line is convenient.
What could be improved: Would not recommend staying here. Specifically:
After booking, you receive a text message with a link to an external party. Through this link, you are required to upload your passport and take a photo of yourself. While the listing mentions that they work with an external party, it is not clear before booking that you’ll be uploading sensitive information to a third party without clear GDPR compliance details.
During the process with this external party, additional costs arise. These are mandatory, leaving you no alternative.
Check-in is only available from 5 PM, and you must check out by 10 AM.
About the apartment itself:
It is not clean. It’s not absolutely filthy either, but certainly not clean. The floor is sticky, walls are dirty, and items like cutlery, the microwave, and the fridge are not clean. Hair is found everywhere, and much of the space has white (?) carpet, which unsurprisingly looks disgusting.
Two out of the three bedrooms lack curtains or any form of blackout covering. This means you’ll wake up early and have zero privacy between inside and outside.
The apartment smells. I suspect either a previous tenant smoked inside or that smoke from downstairs neighbors seeps through. At times, it even reeks of cannabis.
The beds are terrible. They are saggy, causing you to roll toward the center.
The host is difficult to reach and hangs up "accidentally" when you try to call.
