First Impressions
1 Bed Apartment- Marble Arch 4 sits on Upper Berkeley Street, and honestly, the location hits that sweet spot where you’re close to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. It’s a apartment setup rather than your typical hotel experience, which I actually prefer when I’m staying more than a couple nights in London. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of Westminster — nothing fancy, but solid and well-maintained.
The Space
The three-star rating feels about right once you step inside. You get a proper one-bedroom layout with a separate living area, which gives you room to actually spread out your stuff — something you really appreciate after living out of a suitcase. The kitchen is compact but functional, with a proper fridge and stovetop that’ll handle more than just reheating takeaway. I mean, you’re not going to host a dinner party, but making breakfast or a simple dinner? Totally doable.
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about this spot — Marble Arch station is literally a few minutes’ walk away, so getting anywhere in London becomes pretty straightforward. You know what’s even better though? Hyde Park is right there when you need to escape the city buzz for a bit. The Marble Arch end of Oxford Street is much more manageable than the crazy crowds you get further east, and you’ve still got all the shopping if that’s your thing.
Neighborhood Feel
Upper Berkeley Street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central. There’s a good mix of local spots and places that cater to visitors, but it doesn’t feel touristy in that overwhelming way. The area has some decent pubs and cafes within walking distance — I found myself grabbing coffee from this little place around the corner most mornings rather than dealing with the chain spots on Oxford Street.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy interiors, but that’s not really the point. What you get is a practical base in one of London’s most connected areas, with enough space to actually live a bit rather than just crash. The apartment setup means you can save money on meals if you want to, and having a separate bedroom makes it feel less cramped than most hotel rooms in this price range. For the location and the space you get, it’s solid value — especially if you’re someone who spends most of their time out exploring the city anyway.

1) the inside of the property was super clean
It is nice bathroom Kitchen it is a small apartment but was worth it absolutely nice and clean felt at home
What could be improved: 1) I don’t think this was related to the property inside but the entrance outside the building people would leave TRASH
And the corridor inside the building leading towards the apartment the floor made of carpet is dirty absolutely dirty period !

"Pleasant"
Well located
Bus stops near to the flat
What could be improved: The second bed in the couch wasn’t confortable at all
The sheets and covers were stained
Really annoying loud noise in the apartment anytime someone was using the shower
Really bad WiFi even though we many times reset it
Owner does not respond to messages, asked for an early check in just to leave the luggage no response so we still went there
Most importantly, my friend forgot her wallet in the apartment with her credit cards her driving license and money, still MIA to this day to know if they found it or not ! This is seriously not ok at all, if you don’t know how/want to deal with your tenants, simply don’t put your apartment on Booking.

"Relatively pleasant"
The flat was situated near our conference venue. Once inside, the flat itself was relatively clean with all the amenities you’d expect in a hotel with teas/coffees, shower gel/shampoo, etc.
What could be improved: First impressions count, and I think with the entrance area being so grubby and run down, we’d already made our minds up about the flat before we even stepped into it. There were a few broken things (coffee table legs, shelving in bedroom, etc.) which, although didn’t affect our stay, just made the stay a little “meh” as opposed to “I can’t wait to stay here again!”
There was a really crispy bunched up trail of toilet roll by the side of the bed when we arrived, a few specks of makeup on the wall by the mirror in the living room, cigarette burn on side of couch arm, etc. which again, didn’t affect our stay, but would have been nice to not have to see.

"It delivers what it offers."
Great location, comfortable space, it is really close to public transport, few minutes walk to Hyde park. Nice building, and the apartaman is on the second floor, so not getting much noise from the cars but you get a little bit of view from the windows to the nearby streets. Very well equipped. Even tea and coffee provided by the owner.
What could be improved: The whole apartman is a bit " used". The bathroom would need a little bit of renovation, and more thorough cleaning.

"Great"
Great cozy apartment, good for a group of 2 or 3. It had everything we needed for our stay. Exactly as shown in the photos. The location is great, very close to Marble arch, and there are lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. The check-in and check-out instructions from the host were easy and clear.

"It was ok but bad management"
What could be improved: The property owner or manager failed to speak with us after raising concerns about the facility some aspects of the accommodation.
The bed from the last occupant was still the accommodation when checked in and remained till we left.
