Beautiful Flat Near the Center 11 min by tube is one of those places that immediately puts you at ease when you walk in. Located on a quiet residential street in Lambeth, this four-star property feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat than a typical hotel. The building itself has that classic London charm — Victorian red brick with white-trimmed windows that you see all over this part of the city.
The Space
What struck me most was how thoughtfully the apartment was laid out. You’ve got a proper living area that doesn’t feel cramped, and the kitchen is actually functional — not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes where you can barely make tea. I mean, there’s real counter space and a full-sized fridge, which honestly saved me quite a bit on dining out. The whole place feels lived-in but spotless, if that makes sense.
Location and Getting Around
The 11-minute tube claim is pretty accurate — I timed it a few times to Stockwell station, and it’s a straight shot into central London from there. What the name doesn’t tell you is that you’re also walking distance to some genuinely good local spots. There’s a proper pub around the corner that locals actually go to, and Vauxhall Park is closer than you’d think for morning runs.
The Room and Comfort
The room setup works really well for longer stays. You know what I appreciated? Proper blackout curtains and windows that actually open — seems basic, but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed stiffness, and there’s decent storage space for unpacking properly.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you the independence of your own flat with the reliability of a well-managed property. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works smoothly. Parking can be tricky on the street, but honestly, with the tube connection being so reliable, I’d skip the car entirely if I were doing this again.

"Exceptional"
Very spacious and clean, very close to the station and easy to get to. A lot of shops local too
What could be improved: The heater was impossible to turn off which made it a bit uncomfortable but was okay as the weather is very cold at the moment

"We had a lovely stay, we would happily stay again!"
The flat was very clean, comfortable, and felt like home. The host was fantastic, super responsive, kind, and helped us a lot whenever we needed anything. Great communication and support throughout
What could be improved: Wi-Fi issue, but the host was very responsive and tried their best to fix it as quickly as possible. Key pickup was also a bit far from the flat

"Very good"
- Spacious, very clean, well organised and very nice appartment.
- Location is generally good, near to buses and tube station + lots of shops.
- lots of Amenities and stocked with all you'd probably need.
What could be improved: - No flexibility in check-in time or early drop of luggage.
- A bit complex check-in as you have to collect the keys from a different location 10 minutes away from the apartment, and then you need to drop it back on checkout (can be a bit difficult if you're walking with kids or with luggage)
- Building entrance is smelly with many garbage bins scattered in the front & to the sides. Also many homeless people around.

"Price/ location is a good deal"
1 minute walk to the Brixton underground/ train station , with lots shops around ,good option for coffee and breakfast in the morning .
What could be improved: Not a big problem but if you running out off time takes about 15-20 minute to go to the shop and leave the keys and get back to the underground station . Whit a collection box is much easier .

"Superb"
Perfect location, great comfy flat and very quiet as long as the front windows were kept shut (it was a warm weekend, so this affected one room). Great shower, useful kitchen and dining area, homely lounge.

"Lovely flat, horrible location."
Clean and located right next to the tube station
What could be improved: Having to collect the key from a shop and having to return the key is not practical, 10 min walk each way, not the guests fault but the location is pretty awful, homeless people begging, people on drugs spitting at public, witnessed a phone being stolen from a young woman, the area felt generally unsafe, this is a shame cause the flat is pretty nice, lots of stairs to climb but a decent property. Would not stay in Brixton again!

"Decepcionante en todos los sentidos, tanto la estancia como los responsables del servicio"
What could be improved: Lo primero que no me gusta es que esta encuesta no me deje puntuar los servicios e instalaciones.
En el momento de hacer la reserva pedimos al anfitrión si podíamos dejar las maletas al llegar y nos respondió que ya nos lo diría el día antes. Después no se digno a contestar ninguno de los mensajes que le enviamos.
La recogida y devolución de llaves se realiza a 10' andando del apartamento, que francamente si vas cargado, es muy incomodo.
El apartamento en si mismo es normal, muy básico y sin ningún detalle a destacar.
