Beautiful En-suite room by Hostara Homes
First Impressions
I’ll be honest — when I first booked Beautiful En-suite room by Hostara Homes, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a four-star guesthouse in this part of London. But walking up to the property on Wentworth Street, I was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained everything looked. The building has that classic East London charm without feeling run-down, and you can tell the owners actually care about the place.
The Room Experience
The room itself really lives up to the “beautiful” part of the name. It’s not huge — this is London, after all — but it’s thoughtfully designed with everything you actually need. The en-suite bathroom is spotless and has decent water pressure (which, honestly, isn’t always a given in older London buildings). What I appreciated most was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the middle of everything.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s where this place really shines — the location is absolutely brilliant for exploring. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Aldgate East tube station, which gets you anywhere in London quickly. But what I loved was being able to walk to Brick Lane for incredible curry, then stroll over to Spitalfields Market on Sunday morning. The area feels authentically London without being touristy or pretentious.
Value & Service
The hosts at Hostara Homes actually know what they’re doing, which makes all the difference. They respond quickly to messages and give solid recommendations for local spots. For the price point, you’re getting way more than just a place to sleep — there’s proper attention to detail in how everything’s set up. I mean, they even provide decent coffee, which sounds small but honestly matters when you’re getting ready to tackle a day of sightseeing.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really sets this place apart? It feels like staying in someone’s well-cared-for home rather than a sterile hotel room. The neighborhood gives you that authentic East London experience — you’ll hear different languages on the street, smell amazing food from various cultures, and feel like you’re actually living in the city rather than just visiting it. Plus, with Tower Bridge and the Thames just a short walk south, you get the best of both worlds: local character and classic London sights within easy reach.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
