This four-star apartment sits in Bowry House on Wallwood Street, and you know what? The building’s got that modern East London vibe that actually works. Clean lines, decent entrance, and — crucially — you can actually park here without selling a kidney.
Location & Getting Around
Tower Hamlets might not sound glamorous, but honestly, this spot’s pretty clever. You’re close enough to Canary Wharf’s financial district that you can see those gleaming towers, but far enough away that you’re not paying those insane central London prices. The DLR connections are solid from here, and I mean, when you’ve got free parking in London, you’ve basically won the lottery. Mile End’s got this authentic East London feel — proper pubs, decent curry houses, none of that touristy nonsense.
The Apartment
The two-bedroom setup actually makes sense — it’s not just two tiny boxes crammed together. The main room flows into the kitchen area nicely, and speaking of the kitchen, it’s got everything you’d actually want to use. Real plates, proper knives, a coffee maker that doesn’t look like it came from 1987. The balcony’s the real winner though — not huge, but big enough for morning coffee and people-watching.
What Works (And What Doesn’t)
Look, it’s not perfect — the shower pressure could be stronger, and the Wi-Fi occasionally has moments where it just… stops. But the beds are comfortable, the heating works properly (trust me, this matters in London), and there’s actual storage space. The building’s quiet too, which is saying something when you’re this close to major transport links. I appreciated the little touches — good lighting, decent curtains that actually block out light, towels that don’t feel like sandpaper.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly? It’s the combination of space and location that wins people over. You get proper apartment living with that private balcony — rare in London — plus the freedom of having your own wheels in a city where most people are crammed onto tubes. The price point makes sense too, especially when you factor in what you’d pay for parking elsewhere. "Great stay for family London sightseeing"
Very comfortable apartment with two bedrooms. Kids said the beds are luxurious and they sure gave them a great rest for all day sightseeing.
It is very convenient that beds in the bedrooms can be separated or set together which makes this apartment great for both families and group of friends.
Very well equipped kitchen. Coffee machine allows a great start of the day<3 Stores nearby.
The staff is very engaged and helpfull.
What could be improved: Repainting bathroom walls could help improve from good to great

"Our stay in a heat wave near Canary Wharf"
The size of the appartement was good. We also glad for the washer/dryer, because it was quite hot during our visit. The choices in the TV were great. Our host was always available by text and found solutions for the small hick- ups.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the mattresses of both beds seem to be either well used or of a rather cheap quality. Because it was sunny & hot during our stay, it was not quite possible to keep the appartement cool. No blackout curtains and the fans provided were only able to move the warm air.

"Superb"
The apartment is so spacious, clean and comfortable, the kitchen, sitting room and bedrooms are all really nice, with everything we need. We are both very satisfied.
What could be improved: The only thing was the balcony was locked, I found everywhere inside the apartment, couldn’t find the key. The staff is very friendly, but I told him several times, even sent the video about how I tried as he told me and still couldn’t open it, then received no reply, felt like he didn’t want to take time to solve it. We booked for a month, never got to use the balcony during our stay.

My friend forget Dyson in the room. We called and ask later. The Accommodation has the system that keeps personal belonging after the guests left, which is traceable! We are impressed!!! Thank you so much! 😊
What could be improved: Nothing particularly. Our rooms are exactly like the photos.

"Super clean, hotel quality accommodation with a well equipped kitchen and a balcony."
They have a coffee machine, clean and well decorated.
Had everything I needed for my stay. Free parking, supermarket very close. Mile End is just around the corner.
What could be improved: Nothing, Host was very accommodating.

"Friendly Host. Great Location, commute options are fab and FREE PARKING"
FREE PARKING IN LONDON and next to CANARY WHARF! Finding a free parking place in london is really challenging but we think we were really lucky to find this property. Also it has a lift! Property it’s self its lovely, very clean and cosy. And we LOVEEED the Location. Specially if you want to use Public Transportations.
What could be improved: Nothing really! Everything was as described.

What could be improved: Every thing was good. Host made our stay very comfortable.

"Would not recommend this location."
Host allowed us early checkin for a 50£ fee.
What could be improved: Location is not canary wharf. It is a dingy council housing. Towels were stained. Spoons in drawer were still dirty. Bathroom sink did not drain. No curtain in kitchen with full view of the hallway.
