Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Apt 2, Opera House by Indigo Flats, you immediately sense you’ve landed somewhere special in the heart of Covent Garden. The building sits right in Westminster Borough, and honestly, the location couldn’t be more perfect if you tried. You’re literally steps away from the Royal Opera House — I mean, you can practically hear the rehearsals from your window. The entrance feels more like arriving at a sophisticated friend’s place than checking into typical tourist accommodation.
The Space Itself
This apartment genuinely surprised me with how thoughtfully it’s been designed. The room layout makes clever use of every square foot, and you get that proper London flat feeling without the cramped quarters you’d expect. What I loved most was the kitchen setup — it’s not just some token kitchenette thrown in as an afterthought, but actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Borough Market and cook something up. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and classic London character.
Location Magic
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You’re in London‘s cultural heartland, but tucked away from the absolute chaos of Leicester Square. The Strand is right there, which means you can walk to pretty much everything — the Thames, Somerset House, even cross over to the South Bank without breaking a sweat. I found myself popping out for coffee at Monmouth (just around the corner) and wandering through Covent Garden’s side streets that most tourists never discover. The Tube connections are solid too, with multiple stations within easy reach.
The Experience
This four-star spot really delivers on making you feel like a temporary Londoner rather than just another visitor. The self-check-in process is smooth, and the Indigo Flats team actually responds when you need something — which isn’t always guaranteed with apartment-style stays. I appreciated the little touches, like proper coffee in the kitchen and decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes. The building itself has character without being creaky or problematic, and you get those lovely high ceilings that make London flats feel so distinctive.
Why Guests Love It
The thing that keeps people coming back here is how it solves the classic London accommodation problem — you get space, location, and value in one package. Business travelers love being able to prepare their own breakfast and have parking options nearby (though honestly, you won’t need a car from this spot). Couples find it romantic being so close to the theater district, and solo travelers appreciate the independence of having their own place in such a safe, well-connected area. The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense when you factor in the prime Covent Garden location, the apartment-style freedom, and that you’re paying significantly less than what the big hotels charge for similar access to central London.

"I would definitely stay here again."
The location was perfect — very central and close to all the must-see places in London. The underground station was right next to the apartment, and the flat had everything we needed, including an iron, a hairdryer, and other essentials.
What could be improved: The only minor issue was a bit of noise in the morning when the rubbish was being collected in the street. We also heard a little sound from the other apartments, but it was barely noticeable.

"Exceptional"
I would recommend this apartment everyone who are going to London, location was amazing (all the most important attractions were nearby, bus and metro stations) as well as the cleanliness of the apartment. If you need anything, communication with agency was really great, they really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I really have no complaints, everything was perfect with this accomadation.

"Great space for an unexpected stay."
The location was very good. Covent Garden can be quite noisy. Luckily, the bedroom was located away from the street and was relatively quiet. The flat is right around the corner from the main Covent Garden square.
The kitchen and living area was the main reason for picking a flat.
Due to the hurricanes in Florida, my flight had been cancelled and I needed an extended stay place with a kitchen and a little more living space. This little flat did the job.
What could be improved: The bathroom was pretty basic, and like most English showers, it was adequate. I lived in England for years, so I knew not to expect great water pressure for the shower.
Water temperatures in the kitchen ran exceedingly hot, while the bathroom the water temps were not so hot, good so you don't scald yourself, but frustrating if you wanted to get it warmer. Overall, though I would definitely stay here again for its proximity to everything the area offers.
The Three flights of narrow stairs was daunting. But, I managed. The property was a last minute find, and I would consider them again. Just know, these flats are walk ups. I would have known that if I was thinking more clearly and trying to find last minute accommodation. If I hadn't been carrying so much luggage this trip, the three flights wouldn't have been so daunting. (Hence the 8 out of 10 overall rating.) Once in the flat it was everything you could want.

Kitchen is fully equipped and the location is fantastic.
What could be improved: Placement of heater in the bathroom - it is right next to the sink so it can burn your skin if you touch it accidentally.

"Lovely place, great location and well equipped"
Very easy to check in and out. Suited perfectly our family of four. Super location - close to good tube lines so you can easily reach any spot and also many nice places close by (markets, shops, food places, touristic places). Easy communication with the hosts. Well equiped, clean place, with good water flow. No air-conditioning, but a good fan was provided and was perfectly fine. We recommend it and will book again in future.
What could be improved: For us all was fine because non of the following caused discomfort, but it is good for other people to know that it can be a bit noisy in the living room during weekend nights. There is no elevator. And the bathroom sink plus the shower cabin are quite small, in the otherwise spacious bathroom. For us it was ok, but if you are 2m of height, you might have difficulties.

"Great apartment in Covent garden"
Great location in Covent garden. Good kitchen and walking distance to "everything". Perfect for the family.
What could be improved: The sofa bed was too hard and uncomfortable. But it worked ok for the kids.
