First Impressions
When I first walked up to Apollo Hammersmith Studio on Biscay Road, I wasn’t expecting much from the unassuming building facade. But honestly, that’s part of what makes this place special — it’s tucked away in a quiet residential street where you can actually get some sleep, yet you’re still in the heart of London. The entrance might not scream glamour, but the moment you step into the studio itself, you realize this four-star property has nailed the whole “stylish simplicity” thing.
The Studio Space
This isn’t your typical hotel room — it’s a proper studio apartment that actually makes sense for how people travel today. The space flows really well, with a sleeping area that doesn’t feel cramped and a compact kitchen that’s got everything you need if you want to skip expensive London restaurants for a meal or two. I mean, the kitchenette isn’t going to win design awards, but it’s functional and clean, which is honestly all you need when you’re exploring the city all day.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about staying in Hammersmith — you’re not fighting tourists on every corner, but the tube station is literally a few minutes’ walk away. The District, Circle, and Piccadilly lines all stop here, so getting to Central London takes maybe 15-20 minutes depending on where you’re headed. Plus, there’s actual parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in London, which you won’t find easily in Zone 1.
What Works Well
The Wi-Fi is solid (always my first test), and the bed is surprisingly comfortable for what could easily be a basic setup. There’s decent storage space too, which matters when you’re staying more than just a night or two. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed — good water pressure, clean tiles, and they’ve managed to fit everything in without making it feel like an airplane lavatory.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really sets this place apart? It feels like staying at a friend’s well-organized flat rather than a sterile hotel. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you consider the value — you’re getting space, independence, and a genuine London neighborhood experience without paying West End prices. It’s perfect if you want to live like a local for a few days, grab groceries at the nearby Tesco, and still be able to reach Big Ben or the British Museum without too much hassle on the tube.

We had a great time at the Apollo Hammersmith studio. The house was equipped with everything, and when I say everything, I mean everything! Nads was extremely kind and helpful, I definitely recommend this place!

"Cute apartment with everything you need and bed to fall in to"
The Bed was super comfortable, light and airy. Had everything you need to cook and super impressed they had a washer dryer. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow and location was excellent.
What could be improved: Iron and board in lower basement. Extremely hot temperatures in London and the small portable aircon didn’t even touch the heat. Couldn’t open bottom windows any further.

"Exceptional, Comfortable, Great Service"
I had an excellent time at this flat and will be booking it again. Its on a quiet street, easy to find and check in. Its only 30 mins from the airport by tube. Loved the decoration and layout, and bed was comfortable. Liked having a Nespresso coffee machine. It also has a desk to work on, so that was good as I was here on a business trip. Very bright during the day, well heated. The host was easy to reach and gave me lots of recommendations.

"Fantastic apartment in an excellent location"
Very convenient location, with easy access to tube and buses within in a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed the free snacks and coffee. The flat was very clean and easy to use - all appliances working. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The host was very responsive throughout the whole booking and allowed us an early check in. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again.

"OTTIMA STRUTTURA, STRATEGICAMENTE PERFETTA."
Grazioso e luminoso appartamento situato in una caratteristica palazzina in stile British, vicino alla fermata della metropolitana "Hammersmith" (440 mt) che in 14 minuti porta a "Westminster".
L'aeroporto di Gatwich è raggiungibile in circsa 1 ora, con cambio alla stazione "Victoria".
Staff gentile e professionale, risponde su whatsapp; su nostro input ci inviava prontamente un tecnico perché c'erano dei problemi nel bagno. Problemi risolti. Consentito il deposito gratuito dei bagagli prima dell'orario del check in ma non l'anticipo (gratuito) del check in strsso.
Il monolocale di circa 35 mq al secondo piano si suddivideva in zona giorno dotata di cucina funzionale (presenti stoviglie , macchina da caffè con capsule incluse, forno, piano cottura ad induzione, frigorifero, lavasciuga), tavolo con quattro comodi sgabelli e zona notte con letto, armadio e divano. Molto bella la smart tv presente ed il caminetto da arredo. La sala da bagno disponeva di una comoda doccia.
Ottimo il segnale wifi.
What could be improved: 1)Nonostante la gentilezza, la professionalità e la piena disponibilità della proprietaria noi suggeriamo vivamente di fare più attenzione alla pulizia dei tappeti presenti in appartamento;
2)non è possibile che il check in si debba fare in un orario così tardivo (ore 16:00) e poi fissare l'orario del check out già alle ore 10:00 del mattino.

Posizione ottima. Metro a 5 minuti a piedi. Supermercato…un bel pub praticamente sotto casa…zona tranquilla e molto caratteristica. Stupenda.

"Appartamento bello per la posizione e comfort"
Questo appartamento ci è piaciuto moltissimo per la posizione e il livello di comfort. Sicuramente torneremo!
Si trova in una zona molto centrale, a pochi passi dalla stazione della metropolitana di Hammersmith, da cui è facile raggiungere tutta la città.
L’appartamento era molto pulito e i letti comodi, incluso il divano letto, spazioso e solido.
La cucina è ben attrezzata, ideale per preparare pasti leggeri. Abbiamo apprezzato la macchina del caffè e il Wi-Fi gratuito.
Anche la proprietaria è stata davvero gentile e disponibile.

"Gutes Quartier für einen Kurztrip"
Lage zur U-Bahn sehr gut und wir haben in der Wohnung alles vorgefunden, was wir für ein Wochenende brauchten, Bad war komfortabel, späteres Auschecken wurde uns kurzfristig ermöglicht.
What could be improved: Das Brummen des Heizkessel Tag und Nacht, die Wohnung war sehr hellhörig, Hundegebell, Trittgeräusche von oben.

"Muy bien"
Estaba todo muy limpio. El alojamiento está cerca del metro y tiene muchas opciones de comida cerca. Nos pareció un detalle que nos dejaran unas galletas y café.
Tiene mucha vajilla y utensilios si planeas comer ahí.
Tuvimos problemas de ruido excesivo del inquilino de arriba a altas horas de la madrugada y nos ayudaron hablando con el gerente del edificio para que al día siguiente no volviese a pasar.
What could be improved: La cama es incómoda y estrecha. El espacio está bien para 2 personas pero es muy pequeño si fuese para 4.
