Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Zee homes W6 on Shepherds Bush Road, you know immediately this isn’t your typical hotel setup. It’s actually more like a collection of well-appointed serviced apartments tucked into a residential street — which honestly makes it feel less touristy and more like you’re staying somewhere real Londoners actually live. The building has that solid West London brick facade that just feels reassuringly permanent.
The Space
What struck me first about my apartment was how much thought went into making a relatively compact space feel genuinely livable. The kitchen isn’t just some token kitchenette with a broken kettle — it’s actually functional with proper appliances and enough counter space to prepare real meals. I mean, after days of overpriced hotel breakfasts, being able to pop to the nearby Tesco and cook something simple was honestly refreshing.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot in London — you’re in Hammersmith, which means you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the chaos of central tourist zones. Goldhawk Road tube station is maybe a seven-minute walk, and from there you can get to Oxford Circus in about 20 minutes on the Hammersmith & City line. The area around Shepherds Bush Road has this lived-in feeling with proper local pubs and that slightly scruffy charm that makes West London feel authentic.
What Makes It Work
This four-star property gets the balance right between hotel service and apartment independence. There’s daily housekeeping if you want it, but you’re not dealing with constant interruptions or overly formal front desk interactions. The apartments have good WiFi, decent water pressure, and — something you don’t always get in London — proper heating that actually works when you need it.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Zee homes W6 apart is how it suits people who want to experience London without feeling like they’re constantly performing the role of “tourist.” You’ve got local coffee shops within walking distance, the Riverside Studios arts venue nearby, and easy access to both Hammersmith’s riverside walks and the shopping chaos of Westfield if that’s your thing. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.

"A great stay"
The place was as in the photos, comfortable and clean, with useful kitchen amenities and a helpful host. A good location and very conveniently there was a Tesco supermarket right next door.
What could be improved: It was a bit noisy for me from the road.

"We had a lovely stay in Studio Two all in all, the space is adequate for 2 people and the location was perfect for our n"
Check in and nice and simple. The room is quant but enough space for 2 people to relax. The tv entertainment was great. For October the temperature was warm but there was a tower fan in the room which came in very handy. Location is very handy and is right on top of a Tesco for necessities.
What could be improved: The bed and bedding wasn’t the comfiest, this of course is down to preference. Studio Two is on the second floor which was a burner on the stairs. The studio room is on a busy road but this did quieten down overnight.

"Very good"
One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in
The upper space is perfect for storing your luggage away, instead of cluttering the main area.
The pictures are true,. I don't know about square inches etc for the floor space. It's a small compact modern clean and thoughtfully put together studio. Thumbs up from me
What could be improved: To open the window blind you have to climb over the bed as the steps for the upper space are fixed, you can't move them. But, it's a minor

"Very good"
Very friendly staff member on site on arrival ensured studio was clean. Easy access from pre supplied code. Great shower. Good location in suburb, with useful proximity to Tesco store .
What could be improved: Minor difficulty in finding property as no number on door, to side of main street.

"Value for money"
Keys were not ready in lock box so had to phone host to arrange this.
What could be improved: The accommodation had everything you needed and was lovely and clean but it was very small, particularly the shower room.

"Cozy staying"
Location in Hammersmith, next to Tesco (supermarket), tube/metro stations near by, very well communicated with the center, amenities, etc. Beds comfy. Apartment clean. One of the cheapest place to be.
What could be improved: The duplex ceiling was low (only to lay on the bed) and the appartment was a bit tiny for 3 people.

"Brook Green pad"
The place was spotless. With all amenities.
The stairs might be an issue if you have big suitcases. It was unusually hot and humid when I was staying, they provided a bladeless fan.. but not enough to cool the air, and had to open the window - then you have the traffic noise.
The instructions and communication throughout were fantastic and prompt.
The location is great with a big Tesco 2 mins away, and a few eateries around.
What could be improved: Shower - must be due to the water pressure in the higher floor. Fluctuating between extreme temperatures making hard to have a proper shower. But bathroom was bijou and adequate.
