Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to WINTER WONDERLAND -KNIGHTSBRIDGE -Next2 HARRODS 3 BEDROOMS-2Baths on Ovington Square, you immediately get that “I’ve made it” feeling. This four-star property sits on one of those quintessentially London garden squares that feels worlds away from the tourist chaos, yet you’re literally a two-minute stroll from Harrods’ iconic green awnings. The building itself has that classic Kensington elegance — white stucco facade, black railings, the works — but what really struck me was how quiet the square is despite being in the absolute heart of everything.
The Space
This isn’t your typical hotel room — it’s actually a proper three-bedroom apartment that feels more like borrowing a well-heeled friend’s place for the weekend. The layout works brilliantly for families or groups who want their own space but don’t want to compromise on location. Each bedroom has its own character, and honestly, the two full bathrooms are a game-changer when you’re traveling with others. The kitchen is compact but functional — perfect for morning coffee or storing those Harrods treats you’ll inevitably buy.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about staying on Ovington Square — you’re in London‘s most exclusive shopping district, but you actually get to live like a local rather than just passing through. Harrods is right there, yes, but so is the charming Brompton Road with its independent boutiques and cafes that most tourists never discover. South Kensington’s museums are an easy walk, and when you need to get anywhere else, Knightsbridge tube station connects you to the entire city. The location score of 10.0 isn’t marketing fluff — it’s genuinely that good.
Practical Perks
One thing that surprised me was the on-site parking — in this part of London, that’s practically worth its weight in gold. If you’re driving in from the countryside or airports, you know what a relief it is not to circle endlessly looking for a spot. The building feels secure and well-maintained, and there’s something reassuring about having your own front door key rather than checking in and out at a traditional hotel reception. It gives you that sense of independence that makes longer stays feel natural.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.0 rating tells the real story here, but what I found particularly telling was how much couples rave about this place. There’s something undeniably romantic about having your own London pied-à-terre, even temporarily — making morning tea together, planning your day over breakfast at the kitchen table, coming home after a long day of sightseeing to your own space rather than a generic hotel room. The combination of prime location, apartment-style comfort, and that exclusive Ovington Square address creates an experience that feels both special and authentic. You’re not just visiting London — you’re actually living in one of its most coveted neighborhoods, even if it’s just for a few days.
To book hotel in London for fashion week buzz, travelers reserve early to pair Westminster sunrise walks with evening pub rituals.

"Traditional apartment, great quiet location, perfect for accessing all of areas around Knightsbridge"
Great location, traditional apartment is located in a quiet square, easy to walk from tube station, with easy access to Knightsbridge and Kensington.
What could be improved: Lift not working but fixed on day of departure, didn’t bother us at all, but could have been an issue for anyone who struggles with stairs.

"We were reluctant to leave. We will return."
Very communicative and attentive host. Met us, showed us around the property and shared info on the local area.
Very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation. Everything you need from a home. The pictures are accurate. My favourite location. You can easily walk, catch a bus, hop on a tube, call an Uber or hail one of the many cabs in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here and will definitely book again.

"Exactly what we hoped for"
We were 3 older ladies visiting London. We had first considered hotels, but then I came across this listing and it couldn't have been more perfect. We had a morning arrival. We arranged LHR transfers through the host and also early check-in, which we greatly appreciated. We each had our own space, but also a common area for breakfast and just relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. The apartment was very well equiped (4 types of coffee pots!). We picked up something at Paul bakery across from Harrods, each evening for breakfast the next morning. There was even some eggs in the fridge that we used one morning, and tea and ground coffee was in the cupboard, although we did buy Nespresso pods as it was our coffee preference. We ate in the area every night, our last night we picked up soup and salad at Sainsbury's and ate in the apartment. So many great options available nearby (Thai, Turkish, etc). Convenience to underground (2 different stations nearby) also a plus. Would strongly recommend this property and adored the neighborhood.
What could be improved: This isn't really a negative, but responding to some of the other comments. Yes, the place is a bit dated, and there are areas that could use a new coat of paint, but for us it had a homey British charm. And yes, the elevator is small, but at least they have one. We actually didn't mind using the stairs, but did use elevator for luggage. If you are expecting a slick modern apartment, this isn't it, but what this is, is very comfortable, quiet, clean, well equiped and convenient space.

"Great area comfortable stay superb host."
Location was excellent, quiet leafy circus
What could be improved: The master bedroom shower over the bath wasn’t very powerful so not easy to use. The other shower was powerful but a bit cramped otherwise we had a great experience , the host was extremely attentive and helpful and kept in touch throughout our visit and allowed us to leave bags on the final day which was unvaluable.

"Location, comfort, centre to everything! Perfect for a weekend away - home away from home."
The location was in the centre of London. It was close to all amenities. The host met with us & was lovely & very informative of restaurants, pubs etc! The beds were as comfortable as my own back home. For the centre of London there was no noise. We were a 3 generation family and it met with all our needs! Wi-Fi, television for cartoons when your grand nephew woke at 6.30am! I can't wait to go back to stay again. If I could give it an 11 I would.
What could be improved: Everything was above our expectations - I have nothing to complain about! Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedroom & if need be a sofa bed. Excellent.
