I’ll be honest — Whimsical Nook: Cozy Studio with Separate Kitchen isn’t your typical hotel experience, and that’s exactly what makes it special. You’re about a 15-minute walk from Crouch End, which has some fantastic pubs and independent shops that feel authentically London rather than touristy. The Northern line is easily accessible, so getting into central London is straightforward, but you also get to experience what it’s like to stay in a proper residential neighborhood where people actually live and work.
Practical Details
The building itself is a converted Victorian house, so expect some of those charming quirks that come with older London properties — creaky floorboards, slightly uneven walls, that sort of thing. I mean, it’s part of the character, really. There’s no dedicated parking, which is pretty standard for this part of London, but street parking is manageable if you’re driving. The wifi works well, and I found the heating actually kept the space comfortable during my stay, which isn’t always a given in London studios.

"Was comfortable"
Was clean, kitchen was clean , every item on the list was there
What could be improved: the mirror part in the toilet where shower gels was kept was dusty including the shower gels, could not touch it. I took a picture, the room had a terrible smell, had to keep windows open throughout. The size of the shower seems it was made for slim people and me being a size 14 I could not move round inside. The wardrobe on the side with sheets and duvet was exposed and dusty and couldn’t use the duvet

"Great location"
The location was great, and the flat was good overall. There were just a few minor issues, such as a vent in the wall that I had to cover with a pillow to block the cold air, and the property was quite dusty. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
What could be improved: The flat wasn’t very clean, as it looked like it had been cleaned weeks ago—it was quite dusty.

If you’re taller than 170 it’s very hard to stay there by the way stuff no stuff there only one person you can connect on the phone he is unbelievable rude person why do people give good review on this flat? I don’t really know. Maybe difference that is impossible to give you good review.
What could be improved: You can’t wash your face sink was so small it was not flat or one bedroom flat apartment it was only one room and it was really disgusting don’t waste your money guys get Otel room is 10 times better than like that apartment in London. This is my second experience but all feeling so bad.

What could be improved: It needs a bin there is a tiny one in the bathroom and black out blinds would be great it was very bright at 5 in the morning

"Good"
Sehr gute Lage, gut angebunden über die Stationen Turnpike Lane und Harringay, man ist schnell in London City.
Das Bett ist bequem, die Küche sehr groß und geräumig, man hat viel Platz zum Sitzen. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern ist sehr schnell und freundlich.
What could be improved: Befall von orangefarbenen Insekten im Bad. Immer wenn man das Licht angemacht hat, haben sie sich in ihre Ecken verkrochen. Es waren sehr viele, wir haben täglich ca 10 beseitigt, es kamen immer wieder neue dazu.
Ausstattung in der Küche könnte vor allem für Kurzaufhalter besser sein.
Nach Barfußlaufen in der Wohnung und Küche waren meine Fußsohlen schwarz.

"Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo"
L'appartamento è piccolo ma accogliente e con tutti i comfort, i materassi sono abbastanza comodi, la cucina è fuori ma esclusiva e sullo stesso piano (esusivo a completa disposizione) con porta adiacente. Per gli standard di Londra la pulizia è soddisfacente, il bagno è piccolo e con un lavandino piccolissimo adattandosi I denti riesci a lavarceli, nel complesso comunque sufficiente. La cucina è ben fornita con stoviglie, macchinetta del caffè con cialde Tassimo (prendetevele se volete del buon caffè senza spendere un occhio a Londra 😅) , microonde, bollitore, tostapane, frigorifero e lavatrice. Posizione comoda vicina alla metro Turnpike lane linea Piccadilly (circa 10 minuti a piedi) e zona ben servita con un paio di supermercati di cui un Tesco express all'uscita della metro. Host molto comunicativo, gentilissimo e pronto a rispondere a tutte le esigenze in breve tempo, basti sapere che essendo molto caldo nel periodo in cui siamo stati, abbiamo chiesto un ventilatore ce lo ha fatto avere nel giro di poche ore. Nel complesso ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
What could be improved: Come già detto, lavandino del bagno insufficiente, troppo piccolo, nella doccia manca un ripiano per appoggiare i saponi e manca il bidet. Appartamento situato all'ultimo piano mansardato quindi molto caldo (noi siamo stati a Londra con un caldo davvero anormale per gli standard londinesi!) il ventilatore fornito tempestivamente è riuscito in piccola parte ad ovviare al problema, la finestra nella camera fa entrare parecchia luce già dalle prime ore del mattino e fornisce poca ventilazione se non lasciando aperta la porta della cucina e della camera (cosa non possibile la notte per ovvie ragioni). La zona seppur comoda per gli spostamenti, è un po' trasandata e sporca e se non amate la cucina etnica la via principale per raggiungere la metro con i suoi odori vi metterà alla prova, se invece la amate troverete di tutto senza problemi.

"L'appartamento è molto accogliente, buon rapporto costi-benefici. Lo consiglierei di sicuro!"
Ottima posizione, circa 10min a piedi dalla stazione di Turnpike Lane sulla Piccadilly, metropolitana molto ben collegata al centro di Londra (zona 3). Camera accogliente con tv satellitare, wi-fi ed annessa una cucina veramente dotata di tutto, non manca assolutamente niente! Vicino all'appartamento ci sono mini market, ristorantini e locali carini. Quartiere molto tranquillo e silenzioso!
What could be improved: I letti non erano comodi anche se poi alla fine ci si adatta. L'unico neo è stato il lavandino del bagno troppo piccolo, molto scomodo per lavarsi. Nel bagno mancano mensolette per appoggiare creme, saponi per l'igiene personale. Per noi che eravamo in 3, gli spazi del bagno erano troppo limitati e scomodi.

"Regular"
La cama era muy comoda.
What could be improved: El apartamento estaba en un tercer piso sin ascensor. Las escaleras eran muy estrechas e inclinadas. Viajamos con un bebé y fue muy complicado subir y bajas el carro.
La cocina no esta dentro del apartamento si no al lado y la puerta esta abierta por lo que puede entrar cualquier persona.
En cuanto a la habitacion el techo es una bóveda que va en disminución por lo que te golpeas en la cabeza constantemente. La habitación tiene un respiradero que da a la calle por el que se cuelan mosquitos y hace ruido.
En cuanto a la limpieza solo bien habia bastante polvo.
En cuanto al baño es extremadamente pequeño, cabe una persona delgada.
La cama era muy comoda.
