Overview
First Impressions
Very Nice Big Place in Camden Town 2 Minutes to Kings Cross — yeah, that’s actually the real name, and honestly, it tells you everything you need to know. This unique boutique hotel without official star rating sits in one of London’s most electric neighborhoods, and when they say two minutes to Kings Cross, they mean it. I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times I was surprised by how spacious the place feels once you’re inside — not something you expect in this part of town.
Location & Neighborhood
The location is genuinely brilliant if you want to be in the thick of things. Camden’s music venues are literally on your doorstep, and you know what? The area has this raw energy that some travelers absolutely love while others find a bit overwhelming. During the day, you’ve got Camden Market buzzing with tourists and locals alike, but evenings bring out the live music crowd. The Kings Cross connection means you can be anywhere in London within 20 minutes — I actually used it as my base for day trips to Brighton last time.
The Space
The apartment-style setup works really well for groups or longer stays. Each unit has a proper kitchen with everything you actually need, not just the bare minimum you usually get. The room layouts vary quite a bit — mine had these huge windows that flooded the space with light, though street noise can be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. I mean, you’re in Camden, so there’s always something happening outside, but that’s part of the charm, right?
Practical Matters
What I really appreciate is how straightforward everything is here. Check-in was smooth both times, and the staff actually know the neighborhood well enough to give you proper recommendations. There’s no fancy concierge service, but there’s also no pretense — they’ll tell you which pubs have the best Sunday roast and which tube entrance to avoid during rush hour. The building itself has character (read: it’s old but well-maintained), and honestly, it fits perfectly with Camden’s slightly chaotic vibe.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re not getting hotel room service or a business center, but you are getting a proper London experience in one of the city’s most authentic neighborhoods. The value is solid for what you get — especially considering you can walk to some of London’s best music venues and still catch an early train from Kings Cross. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned because you actually feel like you’re living in London rather than just visiting it.

"Would stay again as the location was spot on it was tired and in need of painting but was clean and the beds were very c"
Amazing location, you couldn’t get a better location. Very spacious, everything you needed.
What could be improved: On arrival we asked to leave our luggage as the cleaner was cleaning which was fine, I used the bathroom and there wasn’t any paper I asked for some and she didn’t have any?
Later that day we returned and this was not rectified, never stayed in a house where this was not supplied so had to make a supermarket stop!

Great location and number of beds
What could be improved: The cleanliness of the bathroom, the extreme mould in the bathroom I would consider unhygienic.

"I really loved the place"
The location of the house was amazing — right in the center of London, and the famous Camden Market was almost directly across the street. The train station was just a 3–4 minute walk away. Since train travel is very fast and the most preferred mode of transport in London, we were able to get everywhere easily. The beds were comfortable, and in my opinion, the house looked even better than in the photos. :)

"Great place"
I recently stayed at this beautiful property just across from Camden Market and only a 3–4 minute walk from Camden Town Station, and I genuinely couldn’t have been more impressed. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Camden, yet tucked away just enough to offer a peaceful and stylish retreat from the buzz of the city.
The house itself is surprisingly spacious and immaculately clean, which can be rare in larger city homes. Every room feels thoughtfully decorated with modern, tasteful furniture and artistic touches that make it feel more like a boutique home than a rental. One of the standout features for me was the garden — a rare gem in central London and the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.
Speaking of coffee, the kitchen is one of the best-equipped I’ve ever seen in a short-term rental. From the toaster and kettle to the espresso machine and oven, everything is of high quality and in excellent working order. It really felt like a proper home, not just a place to sleep.
The beds were incredibly comfortable — soft but supportive, with fresh linens and fluffy pillows that made it hard to get up in the mornings!
I’ve seen a few negative reviews and honestly believe some may be unfair or even written in bad faith. Of course, everyone has different expectations, but in my opinion, this property exceeded all of mine. If this were a hotel, I probably couldn’t afford to stay even one night! I’d absolutely come back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
What could be improved: There is not a pool. Unfortunately :)

"Fantastic stay, great location, comportable beds, friendly host"
The location of the house is fantastic – just a 3-4 minute walk from Camden Town Underground Station. As soon as you step outside, you're right in the middle of Camden Market, the canal, and everything the area has to offer. The house itself is beautifully decorated, making it feel truly special. The host is very helpful, polite, and responds quickly. Highly recommended!
