Overview
First Impressions
Urban Chic – Exeter Street catches your eye the moment you walk up — it’s one of those sleek apartment hotels that manages to feel both polished and welcoming. The lobby has this contemporary vibe without being cold, you know? Dark wood accents mixed with clean lines, and the staff actually seem genuinely happy to see you rather than just going through the motions.
Perfect Covent Garden Spot
Honestly, the location is what really sold me on this place. You’re right in the heart of London‘s theater district — I mean, you can literally walk to most West End shows in under five minutes. The Royal Opera House is practically next door, and Covent Garden Market is just around the corner with all its street performers and buzz. What I love is that despite being so central, Exeter Street itself is relatively quiet, especially at night when you want to actually sleep.
The Apartment Experience
This four-star setup gives you proper apartment-style living, which makes such a difference if you’re staying more than a couple nights. My room had a separate living area with a decent-sized sofa and a little dining table — perfect for spreading out or having a quiet morning coffee before hitting the streets. The kitchenette is actually functional too, not just for show like some places. I picked up groceries from the Tesco Express down the street and made simple meals when I didn’t feel like eating out every single night.
Modern Comfort
The bedroom feels surprisingly spacious for central London standards, with a king bed that’s actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many hotels get this wrong). Floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light, which is brilliant in the mornings. The bathroom’s nothing fancy, but it’s modern and clean with a proper shower that has decent pressure — sometimes it’s the simple things that matter most when you’re tired from walking around the city all day.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about Urban Chic is that it gives you that independence of having your own space while still getting hotel services when you need them. The 24-hour front desk is genuinely helpful — they sorted out theater tickets for me and gave solid restaurant recommendations that weren’t just tourist traps. You’re paying for the location primarily, but you’re also getting a well-run place that understands what travelers actually want: comfort, space, and easy access to everything London has to offer.
To book hotel in London for fashion week buzz, travelers reserve early to pair Westminster sunrise walks with evening pub rituals.

"Very good"
prime location.
big apartment
comfotable facilities
What could be improved: The service from the service center was problematic. The entry code was received only after contacting them in the hours before check-in.
When there was a problem entering the apartment, there was no reasonable phone response and no one was available to help on-site
. Small issues such as no face towels. No place to hang towels in the bathroom. Leaking sink.
there is no elevator

"Once there it's great, but....."
Location was amazing, generally clean and comfortable. It was a great size, lots of towels and bed linen. Once given the instructions for entry it was easy to find and follow.
What could be improved: The bathroom floors all looked dirty, think that was because the tiles were stained from dirty water. The sofa is in need of replacement soon as it's starting to look tired.
The check in instructions had to be chased multiple times via messaging, phone calls, and emails. Literally only got them 30 mins before I left my house and 3 hours before checking time!! Very stressful. When I explained this on the phone, I was told I was lying about chasing it..... I have the emails, phone records and screenshots of messages. Really not impressed by this part of the service. The information given on Booking.com doesn't match the information the owners then give. Check in and check out times different are just one of the areas.

"Spacious and convenient location but need a lot of upgrades. Host can be better at communicating."
Great location to covet garden and china town. The apartment is spacious.
What could be improved: The apartment could put a little more effort into touching the bathroom up. Cabinets are falling out and multiple terrible tears and wears. It was advertised as 2 bedrooms and 2 bath apartment but when we got there, one of the bathrooms had the out of order sign. It wasn’t communicated to us prior to arrival at all. The 8 of us had to use just 1 bathroom (which definitely needs an upgrade and the sink was very clogged) No baby crib was not set up even though that was an additional charge. Host also charged some of additional fees on our card without communicating.

"Perfect place to stay right in the heart of London"
Our second stay here.
Apartment is massive with all the basics.
Walk up stairs, no lift. BYO everything.
Location is fantastic with views directly to the front door of the Savoy.
Shops restaurants bars and transportation in every direction
Safe and secure, only 2 apartments in this section of building.
Would stay again
What could be improved: Tv in the bedrooms would be nice for longer stays

"Good location but poor communication with host."
What could be improved: Hard to communicate with the host.
I emailed for fixing flicking light in the shower and asked for more supply. They loaded 4rolls of toilet paper for 9 peoples' 1 week stay. But no response received. I bought them in the store. And the charge was taken before the date cancellation free date.
Therefore, I ended up to pay extra $200.
