Walking up to ULTRA MASSIVE House in HYDE PARK on Queens Gate, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but wow, they weren’t kidding about the “massive” part. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Kensington, and you immediately feel like you’ve stepped into one of those grand London townhouses that locals dream about living in. The building has this elegant Victorian facade that fits perfectly with the neighborhood’s character, though the interiors have been completely modernized.
Location & Neighborhood
The location is actually incredible — you’re literally across from Hyde Park, which means morning jogs through Kensington Gardens are basically mandatory. I mean, when else will you get to run past the Albert Memorial on your way to grab coffee? London can feel overwhelming, but this little pocket of Kensington feels manageable and residential. You’ve got the Natural History Museum just a few minutes’ walk away, and honestly, the South Kensington tube station connects you to everything else you’ll want to see.
The Space
This isn’t your typical hotel room situation — we’re talking about a proper house that’s been converted into accommodations. The space feels more like staying in a friend’s incredibly nice London home than a standard hotel. There’s a proper kitchen where you can actually cook (not just reheat things), which is brilliant if you want to shop at Harrods Food Hall and pretend you’re a local for a few days. The living areas are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped, even if you’re traveling with a group.
Practical Details
What I really appreciated was how well-equipped everything is — the WiFi actually works properly (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in London), and there’s decent parking nearby, though honestly, you won’t need a car in this location. The house sleeps quite a few people comfortably, making it perfect for families or groups of friends who want to experience London together without paying for multiple hotel rooms. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, with good water pressure — something that’s not always guaranteed in converted Victorian buildings.

This place works because it gives you the best of both worlds — you get that authentic London townhouse experience without sacrificing modern comforts. "Amazing House"
Amazing house, extremely spacious, modern, new, organised, pristine clean, 2 bathroom, have all equipment I need. The location is very prime being in front of Hyde Park on private quiet secluded road, yet close to anything you want to reach in town. Amazing area. Marble is an amazingly responsive and friendly host. Her house exceeds what she describes and it also exceed our expectations. Fabulous experience which I wish to repeat next year.

"Wonderful"
Wonderful light-filled and large mansion - very easy to get to museums, restaurants, concerts. Marble is very responsive and even supplied us with additional kitchen equipment, so we could do our own cooking! Thanks for having us.

"Terrific property in excellent location"

"Super stay, very enjoyable and comfortable"
My family and I were left without a place and Lynn was extremely helpful allowing us to check-in well before the normal 4 PM.
Very well equipped kitchen even for families with babies such as high chair etc. Full supply of various coffee capsules! Laundry detergent, dishwasher powder fully stocked. Thank you.
Everything was superb, the location just around the corner from Hyde Park, Kensington High Street, Harrods and Knightsbridge tube stations.
We had a very enjoyable stay, will definitely be back! Thank you 🙏

"First Class Apartment"
Our apartment was absolutely perfect! It was incredibly convenient and close to everything you could possibly need—shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and underground stations. I highly recommend Marble and her properties. The apartment was exactly as shown, very spacious, and fully equipped with every amenity. We will definitely be back, and Marble will be our first choice for future stays.

Awesome apartment: huge, clean, peaceful, ideal location, wonderful amenities. The double living areas, the sitting area, the pristine kitchen, and the views over Hyde Park were all unparalleled. We spent our days exploring the entire city from the Globe to the Cotswolds and then return every evening to what truly felt like home. Marble the host was responsive and helpful - the ideal landlord. There are plenty of dining options from elegant to take out within walking distance. Some of our favorites were Da Mario's (Princess Diana's favorite pizza), cocktails at the Milestone Hotel, The Ivy, and Coco Momo for perfect pancakes and lattes. It is also a short walk to the High Street Kensington tube and Gloucester tube stations. And of course, you could spend days walking Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, right across the street! "Stunning, massive, immaculate"
Stunning, massive and immaculate apartment in front of Hyde Park.
It's located in a guarded, private and upscale road, so we felt very safe and it gave our stay that special feeling.
The house is grand, with beautiful comfortable furniture and detailed decorations. We felt blessed to find this gem;
