You’re basically a two-minute walk from Paddington Station, which I mean, if you’re arriving by train or need to catch the Heathrow Express, it doesn’t get much better than this.

What I really appreciate about staying here is how you get that authentic London neighborhood vibe without being stuck in some tourist bubble. The Westminster Borough area around here has this nice mix of locals heading to work and travelers figuring out the Tube map. There’s a Tesco Express practically next door, and you know what — those little conveniences actually matter when you’re jet-lagged and need snacks at 10 PM.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but smartly designed, which is pretty much what you’d expect in this part of London. They’ve managed to fit everything you need without making it feel cramped, though I’ll be honest — if you’re traveling with large suitcases, you’ll need to get creative with space. The bed was comfortable enough, and the shower had decent water pressure, which honestly surprised me given the building’s age.
Practical Perks
Here’s where The One Paddington really works well — the staff actually knows the area and can give you proper directions instead of just pointing at a map. The restaurant downstairs serves solid British fare, nothing revolutionary but definitely reliable when you don’t want to venture out. I grabbed breakfast there a couple times, and while it’s not going to win any awards, it gets the job done and the coffee is stronger than you’d expect.

"Love it. Will book again if I come to London."
I arrived late, the host waited for me at the apartment and showed me everything, even it was 10:30pm on a Friday night.
The apartment has everything I need, amenities, hot water, kitchen, laundry machine, dishwasher, good internet.
It was 5-min walk to the busiest part of Paddington Station.
I honestly don't know what else to ask for.
What could be improved: The door bell downstairs was a bit confusing. Did not know which one to press.

"Nice apartment in an excellent location"
Carolina was nice! The apartment was clean and spacious. And the area was perfect. Close to paddington train station and underground with good connections and is a lively area that is close to noting hill and Hyde park. The apartment was clean and well stocked. There is a lovely terrace with two chairs and a table. The apartment itself has new furniture and high ceilings.
What could be improved: The entrance to the building is old and has a musty smell. The first day the electricity short circuited at night and we could not charge our phones. However, apartment manager called us in the morning and helped us with restarting it. One of the toilets has a really small sink area.
I think the terrace is underutilized and could have more than two chairs. This would make for a better experience allowing all of us to sit on it.

"Great location and plenty of room for our family vacation"
Great location that was a short walk from a main tube station(Paddington). The apartment had plenty of room and was clean and in a good area. The host reached out shortly after our plane had landed to make sure we were ok finding the place and ensure that someone would be there when we made it to the place which was a nice surprise.
What could be improved: Not something the location could do but I wish the timing of when the payment for the place aligned with day/week the exchange rate was more in our favor :-).

The place is good there is 2 bus stops neer you with 23 to Piccadilly Circus and marbil arch and 36

"Nice stay"
Cosy apartment in great location. Few minutes walk to Paddington station. Waitrose is nearby. Well equipped kitchen.
What could be improved: The road noise is loud even with windows closed. The range hood is ductless and the greasy odors lingered all over place which is quite annoying. One of the toilets is believably small.

"Conveniently located"
Good location, a 12-minute walk from Paddington Station and within easy walking distance to many restaurants. Quiet rooms. Washing machine on the property.
What could be improved: There was a musty smell in the apartment. The bed in the front bedroom was so large that it was difficult to get around it. The adjoining bathroom was among the smallest I have ever seen.

"Very nice place"
Very friendly staff and owner, they were kind to let us in before the check-in time.
Place is clean, tidy and close to Paddington station, 5 min.
Close to some restaurants and groceries as well.

"Not a good experience"
The location is ok.
What could be improved: The apartment is in a basic condition.
The owner came to show his apartment to another guy during our stay (just 3 days), very strange, not comfortable at all.

"Passable"
Location was great. The lady who passed the key to us was nice. Sitting room, kitchen, beds were nice.
What could be improved: There were no bedside lamps, second bath room sync was tiny, Needed more hand towels. Quite some people rang the door bell day and night. The smell was not that pleasant and the room perfume was too strong. Not enough space to open the suite cases in the bed rooms.
