Overview
First Impressions
Sweet 3BRs house close to Oxford & Soho sits tucked away on a quiet mews street that feels worlds apart from the bustling energy just minutes away. When I first walked up to this four-star property, I was struck by how the traditional London townhouse facade gives way to something surprisingly modern and thoughtfully designed inside. You know what really caught my attention? The way they’ve managed to create a proper home-like atmosphere while still feeling polished enough for visitors.
The Perfect Fitzrovia Spot
The location is honestly brilliant — you’re in Fitzrovia, which means you can walk to Oxford Street in about eight minutes, but you’re also perfectly positioned for those late-night Soho adventures. I mean, having Charlotte Street’s restaurant scene practically on your doorstep is pretty special. What I love about this particular stretch is that it’s residential enough to feel authentic, but you’re never more than a quick stroll from a good coffee shop or that late-night kebab you’ll inevitably want after exploring London’s nightlife.
Living Like a Local
The three-bedroom setup works brilliantly whether you’re traveling with family or splitting costs with friends. Each room feels like it belongs in a proper London flat rather than a cookie-cutter hotel, and the shared spaces actually encourage you to hang out together. The kitchen is fully kitted out — I’m talking proper appliances, not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation. There’s something really satisfying about being able to grab fresh ingredients from the nearby markets and cook breakfast while planning your day.
The Details That Matter
What sets this place apart are the thoughtful touches you don’t expect. The WiFi actually works everywhere (trust me, I tested it), and they’ve got that sweet spot of being well-equipped without feeling cluttered. The heating works properly — which anyone who’s stayed in older London properties will appreciate — and the windows are double-glazed, so you get a decent night’s sleep despite being in central London. Actually, the sound insulation impressed me more than I thought it would.
Why Guests Love It
Look, at the end of the day, this isn’t about fancy amenities or over-the-top service — it’s about having a genuine London base that doesn’t feel like you’re camping out in someone else’s space. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider how rare it is to find somewhere that balances location, comfort, and that home-away-from-home feeling this well. You’ll save money cooking some meals at home, but you’re close enough to everything that matters that you won’t feel like you’re missing out on the London experience.

"Island of calm in bustling London"
Fantastic location near Regents Park, loads of little restaurants and shops nearby, but very quiet tucked away in the little mews. Upstairs bedrooms were good size and beds very comfortable, super swanky bathroom. Skylights kept the space very well lit. Kitchen very modern and clean, comfy dining chairs and couch. Good wifi!
What could be improved: Downstairs bedroom was small and the bed was small. It was comfy for the one person that slept in it, the other that was meant to ended up on the couch. The bathroom downstairs was also small, it has everything, but it would have to be little people. There was a note in the kitchen to enjoy 1 free espresso (which we never found), honestly don't offer it if it's an expense thing, that just seems weird for a place meant to house a few.

"Wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely would go back."
Beds are super comfy and the location is great.
What could be improved: It was cold and the radiant heat wasn’t really working well for warming the bedrooms but we were provided with portable heaters that helped. The bathroom doesn’t seem to have a heat source so it can be quite chilly. We were travelling in February though.

"Great stay for a family of 4-5 members, or two-three couplescouples"
Location, easy entry, cozy and warm in winter, overall layout, two bathrooms for three bedrooms
What could be improved: Needs a second sofa or two arm chairs in living area

"Great overall stay!"
The property was spacious for our family trip. It was very clean unit, well equipped, and in a good area. We were surprised with a birthday cake and card left for our mother’s 70th birthday. Communication with the property managers was easy.
What could be improved: I would like to mention the beds were low to the ground and the mattresses were softer. The main bathroom did have a tub that was a bit challenging to get in/out of older people.

"Terrific location. Clean and roomy if you are using the entire place."
Excellent location - really, the biggest plus for us. We rented the entire flat as we are a family of 5. Overall, the flat was comfortable (especially the communal living area on the second floor) and the AC was definitely appreciated, especially with the heat wave London was experiencing during our stay.
What could be improved: The 3rd bedroom downstairs was really more of a pullout sofa bed than an actual bed, so not super comfortable. And the shower in the bathroom attached to the downstairs bedroom was very small.

What could be improved: The downstairs bedroom was super cold. The laundry machine was broken.

"Lovely stay... Responsive host"
Stayed with family (4 adults and 2 children) and everything was more than adequate for our needs. The little but thoughtful personal touches such as putting up a small Christmas tree, and fruits added extra warmth to the already cozy space. I particularly liked the extra toiletries and cleaning stuff in the basement.
The host (Jake is the one I was in constant communication with) was super responsive and resolved all our issues promptly.
I would definitely recommend.
What could be improved: Among our party was my mum who is almost 60 years old so she found the flight of stairs a bit challenging. However, she took the downstairs bedroom which was self - contained so that helped mobility issues greatly.

"fabulous location , let down by rundown house"
Location was brilliant,
What could be improved: only 4 mugs, the dishwasher didn’t clean anything, not enough chairs for 4 people to watch television / relax
upstairs bathroom a disgrace , it is broken and difficult to use and also the plug hadn’t been cleaned I had to do this full of hair and yuk. It is a shame it could be lovely but needs some Tlc a luck of paint even! instead of gallivanting round the world spend some money on you house guys because it is grotty and it’s only gonna get worse
