Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Stylishly large Camden apartment B1 on Eversholt Street, you know you’re getting something different from the usual hotel experience. This three-star apartment sits right in the heart of Camden, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you’re planning to explore North London properly. The building itself is typical London residential — nothing fancy from the outside, but that’s kind of the point.

The Space Itself

Once you’re inside, the “stylishly large” part of the name makes perfect sense. The room genuinely feels spacious by London standards, which — let’s be honest — isn’t always saying much, but this one actually delivers. You’ve got a proper kitchen setup that’s not just for show, meaning you can actually cook a decent meal instead of surviving on takeaways for your entire stay. The furnishings lean modern without trying too hard, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase.

Camden Neighborhood

What I really appreciate about this spot is how it puts you right in the thick of Camden without the tourist trap nonsense. Eversholt Street runs parallel to the main Camden High Street chaos, so you get the energy without the constant noise. You’re a five-minute walk from Camden Market when you want the full experience, but you can also duck into proper local pubs and grab groceries at the Sainsbury’s just down the road. The Tube connections are solid too — Euston and King’s Cross are both walkable, which means you can get anywhere in London without much fuss.

Practical Details

The apartment works well for people who want to feel settled rather than just passing through. Having that functional kitchen means you can start your day with proper coffee instead of whatever passes for breakfast at nearby cafés (though honestly, some of them are pretty good). There’s decent natural light, the WiFi actually works reliably, and you won’t hear every conversation from the neighboring rooms like you do in some London places. The bathroom’s nothing special, but it’s clean and has decent water pressure — sometimes that’s all you need.

Why It Works

Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or concierge service, but that’s not really the point. It’s for people who want to experience Camden like they actually live there, not like they’re just visiting. The three-star rating feels about right — comfortable and well-maintained without any pretense. You’re paying for the location and the space, and in that regard, it delivers exactly what it promises. If you want to explore Camden’s music scene, check out the markets, or just use it as a base for London adventures, this place gives you room to breathe and settle in properly.

Exploring London blends royal heritage, UNESCO landmarks, and vibrant neighborhoods glowing with golden-hour light.

"Location location location"
Location is amazing. Despite being a basement flat (which wasn’t noted on the listing) the flat was great and really nicely finished.
What could be improved: The garden is such a missed opportunity and could be an amazing asset to the space. It’s not advertised so was a nice surprise but they could make it amazing and low maintenance and it would really add something. Poor wifi for our visit which was annoying but not essential to us. Missing a few key kitchen items.

"Was nice but would not stay again."
Very large and cozy space.
What could be improved: It is a basement apartment. If you are a light sleeper the train will keep you awake. I do not recommend for women as you have to enter down dark and narrow stairs at night and there is an open basement area across from the door where someone could hide.

"Pleasant"
Host messaged us with a photo of the gate and gave us the code for the lock box, made access very easy. Property was pretty clean and had good amenities.
What could be improved: I was not aware that it was a basement property, and that we were located on top of the underground. So it was quite loud when tubes would approach/leave Mornington Crescent station. Made it quite difficult to have a full nights sleep

The apartment was fine, just like in the photos.
What could be improved: It wasn’t specified on booking that it was a basement apartment. Moreover we didn’t feel safe during the whole stay because of the dark narrow stairs at night and the open area in front of the entrance where someone could hide. Since the apartment is just above the northern line undergroud that never stops running, during the night the noise is quite loud.

"Great stay, perfect place for a small family, amazing location with AC, would rebook"
Gorgeous setting and stylish loved the look and decor and furniture. Great location and facilities and stayed cool in the heat
What could be improved: The smell of damp and smell mainly coming from the drains in the bathroom and the noise from the tube might bother some visitors more than others

Location
What could be improved: Basement with very poor condition entrance. Dangerous to take the lugguages in from the ground level via a narrow stair esp when rainy days…and too close to the underground train station so extremely noisy but this condition has not been mentioned in the booking website. It’s not fair to causing some misleading info to those travelers. Really need to improve

"Clean & Tidy Apartment......BUT!"
Great Location, Close to the underground and only a short walk to Camden Market. Apartment is well presented, clean and tidy. kitchen is well stocked.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, there is a smell of damp. not major but if not treated will get worse over time. one of the downfalls of being near the underground is the noise from it. Felt like we were actually in the station

"Exceptional"
Excellent location with bus and underground links right next to it. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Great facilities. We had 3 adults sharing, and there was plenty of space. You do get some noise from the underground trains as they pass by but it didn't bother us as we were out most of the day and it was very quiet at night.
