Overview
First Impressions
Stylish Studios by Luxestays Shepherds Bush sits on a quiet stretch of Lime Grove, and honestly, the name pretty much tells you what you’re getting. This four-star property doesn’t try to be anything fancy — it’s just well-designed studio apartments that actually work for people who need more than a basic hotel room. The building itself is modern without being flashy, which I appreciated after dealing with some of the more pretentious places around London.
The Studio Setup
Each studio comes with a proper kitchenette, and I mean proper — not just a mini-fridge and a kettle. You’ve got a stovetop, microwave, and enough counter space to actually prepare meals if you want to save some money (or just avoid another overpriced London meal). The layout feels thoughtful too, with the sleeping area naturally separated from the living space without walls making everything feel cramped.
Location & Getting Around
Shepherds Bush might not sound glamorous, but you know what? It’s actually brilliant for exploring London without paying Central London prices. The Shepherd’s Bush Market station is a short walk away, putting you on the Hammersmith & City line — you can reach Notting Hill in about 10 minutes or get to Oxford Circus in under 20. Plus, there’s decent parking around if you’re driving, which is practically a miracle in this part of the city.
The Neighborhood Reality
The area around Lime Grove has this interesting mix going on — it’s residential enough to feel like you’re living somewhere real, but close enough to Westfield shopping center that you’re never stuck for groceries or a quick bite. I actually enjoyed walking through the local streets in the evening; there’s a community feel that you don’t get when you’re staying in tourist-heavy areas. The nearby pubs are proper locals’ spots too, not tourist traps.
Why Guests Love It
With an 8.3 rating, this place clearly works for people, and I can see why. It’s not trying to wow you with a fancy lobby or room service — instead, it gives you space, functionality, and freedom to explore London on your own terms. The studios are clean, the wifi actually works, and you’re not paying through the nose for the privilege. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a London base.

"It was a great stay and I would highly recommend staying"
The apartment is small but very comfortable and clean; in a great location. Everything that one person would need was provided. Great value for money.
Also the hosts were great and very helpful.
What could be improved: Nothing comes to mind.

"Lovely stay and would come back."
The location of the apartment was great. You are near the tube stations and near grocery stores and lots of places to eat. Also on a quiet street. The room was clean and had everything you would need. My studio room has a twin bed which was very comfortable. A bathroom with shower stall. A little kitchen with stove, microwave and mini fridge. There was also a kettle, coffee machine and toaster. The tv is mounted on the wall and can be moved around. There were lots of channels to choose from but I only used YouTube. It’s enough for one person in my opinion. I think it would be snug for two people.
What could be improved: The bathroom was small but that can’t be helped but the temperature of the water and the water pressure is good.

What could be improved: You can hear the heater all night even if you do not turn any heat or take no water , probably from other appartement

"I’d return to the place again."
Very clean
What could be improved: Using the postcode sent me to the wrong place, so I used the full address instead.

"Comfortable stay, great location next to a tube station"
The room was street facing and had all the things to make your stay comfortable - a working kitchen with utensils, basic cuttlery, microwave, mini refrigerator, salt, pepper, towels etc. There was no closet but a good amount of hooks & hangars, so I dont have any complaints. Wifi was fast and I could take meetings with ease.
The best part is the location of the stay which is not even a one min walk from Goldhawk Road tube station. There is also a Sansbury just next to the station which makes everything so convenient.
The hosts are super responsive to your messages on whatsapp/booking. I had some questions wrt me checking in late night but the hosts answered my questions patiently.
What could be improved: Not a dislike but seems vaccum & cleaning is only on request. My stay was of 5 days and I have to request one on the 4th day. But my request was promptly acknowledged and completed within no time.

"Disaster but not deliberately"
Very nice little room, clean and comfortable. Easy access to underground but you will out of walking distance for all of greater London.
What could be improved: Plumbing exploded setting off fire alarm and filling shower stall with stinky brown water. I was on the first floor and the guest below me had it as well. Host arrived and was very nice but I could not stay as the repairs were going to be major.
