Stylish & Central 2-Bedroom Apartment
First Impressions
Stylish & Central 2-Bedroom Apartment sits right on Grays Inn Road, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better for exploring London. When I first walked up to number 43, I was struck by how this classic Georgian building has been thoughtfully converted — you get that authentic London feel without sacrificing modern comfort. The apartment itself is on the third floor, and while there’s no lift, the climb is worth it once you step inside.
The Space
This four-star place really delivers on the “stylish” promise. The living area feels genuinely spacious — something that’s pretty rare in central London — with high ceilings and large windows that flood the space with natural light. I mean, you actually have room to spread out here, which is such a relief after cramming into typical London hotel rooms. The two bedrooms are well-proportioned, and the beds are properly comfortable (trust me, I’m picky about mattresses).
Kitchen & Practicalities
What I really appreciated was the fully equipped kitchen — not just a token kitchenette, but a proper space where you can actually cook. There’s a decent-sized fridge, dishwasher, and all the basics you’d need if you want to grab some groceries from the nearby Sainsbury’s. The bathroom is modern and well-maintained, with a powerful shower that doesn’t leave you standing under a pathetic dribble of water like some London accommodations I could mention.
Location & Getting Around
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally a three-minute walk from Russell Square tube station, which puts you on the Piccadilly line straight to Heathrow or into the heart of the West End. Camden’s creative energy is right on your doorstep — the markets, the canal walks, all those little independent shops and cafés that make this area special. King’s Cross is also walkable, which means easy connections to everywhere else you might want to go.
Why Guests Love It
This apartment works because it gives you the best of both worlds — you’re staying in a proper London neighborhood rather than some tourist bubble, but you’re still incredibly well-connected to all the major sights. The space feels like an actual home rather than just somewhere to sleep, and that makes all the difference when you’re staying for more than a night or two. Plus, with that perfect 10 rating, it’s clear I’m not the only one who thinks this place gets the balance just right.
